The warmth of the family, from filial piety and respect

Filial piety and obedience to parents is a traditional virtue of the Chinese nation and the source of family warmth. In this family of five, I have y realized the importance of filial piety and respect for the elderly. In this article, I will share my journey of growing up in the family, hoping to pass on this virtue.

Memorizing the Three Character Classic

When I was a child, my mother taught me to memorize the Three Character Classic, and the stories about filial piety and respect for the elderly were y imprinted in my heart. I know very well that "filial piety is the first of all good deeds" and filial piety is a traditional virtue of our Chinese nation.

Family of five

In my family of five, there are grandmother, father, mother, sister and me. We live a happy and fulfilling life every day. Although my mom and dad are busy in the private sector, I see and remember their dedication and perseverance.

Taking on household chores

As time went on, I began to take on more household chores and help my mom in any way I could. During the winter holidays, I took the responsibility of taking out the garbage, and my mom surprised me by praising me for my understanding. Now it's my job, and I even help my neighbor's grandmother when she takes out the garbage.

Learning to cook

Under my sister's guidance, I learned the basic skills of cooking, from flushing egg water to frying steamed buns, to peeling ginger, cutting ginger and shredding red radish. Each improvement made me more independent and confident.

Helping Grandma

Whenever I heard my grandmother's car rattling, I would be the first to run out and open the door for her, push the cart, and then heat up the meal and bring it to her. Grandma always smiled and praised me for being a sensible and filial child.

Passing on the Virtues

In this family, I learned the importance of filial piety, respect and helping elders. Every small gesture carries our deep love for our family. Let's pass on this virtue together and fill our home with more warmth and happiness!
