China Qinqiang Art Festival opens June 14 performance schedule

Over the course of 14 days, outstanding troupes from all over Northwest China will present 12 outstanding Qinqiang repertoires for fans and enthusiasts (list of performances attached), and art exhibitions and other activities will be held! On the evening of June 27, the closing ceremony of this year's Qinqiang Art Festival will be held.

The festival is aimed at reviewing and summarizing the achievements of the Qinqiang art development, dedicating high-level and high-grade fine repertoire, as well as introducing excellent opera talents.

Excellent troupes from Gansu, Shaanxi, Xinjiang, Qinghai and Xining will present 12 excellent plays of different styles in 14 days, which will be staged in Lanzhou Concert Hall and Jincheng Grand Theater respectively.

More activities

The festival will hold the "Red Cavalry of Literature and Art" and "Opera in Schools" activities. Famous opera artists and celebrities will perform in rural areas, communities and schools for the benefit of the people. Lectures on opera knowledge and exhibitions of art, calligraphy, film and television, handicrafts and other related arts will also be held.

Famous national theater experts, experts from the five northwestern provinces and regions, and representatives of creative actors from performing groups will be invited to exchange and discuss the performance repertoire and ****talk about the development and inheritance of theater art.
