A Brief Introduction to the Author of Tales on Earth

Hendrik Willem Van Loon, born in Rotterdam, Netherlands, 1903 began to study at Cornell University in the United States and Munich University in Germany, and obtained his doctorate. He worked as a teacher, editor, reporter and announcer in his early years. This stocky Dutch-American, weighing 200 Jin, published a book "The Story of Man" at 192 1, and became famous all over the world. He published more than 30 books in his life. Standing on the position of humanist, he narrated almost all the later history of mankind in an easy-to-understand and humorous style. Liu Hai was born in 1972 in Bojiang, Sichuan. He studied in East China Normal University and Beijing Broadcasting Institute successively, and obtained a master's degree. He has translated the Road to Tara and participated in the series of Black Lens. He is currently teaching in the film and television editing and directing department of Sichuan University Art College.
