The original speed skating skates did not dislocate, which was slightly different from short track speed skating. Then this has two purposes. The first purpose is to separate the knife from the knife seat, so as to increase the distance of pushing ice. The second purpose is to avoid the impact of the tip of the knife cutting into the ice when the legs are retracted when the normal skates slide. His advantage is to save the athletes' physical expenditure, at the same time, increase the athletes' movement range, make them look more stretched and improve their speed. It has been proved that all athletes who wear Klepp skates can improve by more than one lap at most.

In addition, he doesn't use it in short track speed skating, because the short track speed skating venue is small and the straight curve is short, so he can't use the ice pedal greatly, so it doesn't necessarily work. Most short tracks are blocking tactics. Does it mean that the misplaced knife is not easy to slide when it is bent? The main road is curved, and the centrifugal force of the main road accelerates better, so basically the speed skaters on the main road are better than those on the short circuit!
