Ancient Chinese etiquette at home and abroad at present the current state of research

In ancient China, there were five rituals, namely, auspicious rituals for sacrifices, auspicious rituals for crowns and marriages, auspicious rituals for guests, auspicious rituals for military affairs, and auspicious rituals for funerals and burials. Folklore circles believe that rituals include four kinds of life rituals: birth, crown, marriage and funeral. In fact, etiquette can be divided into two main categories: political and life.

But in China basically disappeared, Japan inherited a little bit, in the New Culture Movement, even the last crown ceremony and the table word have disappeared, and the Cultural Revolution is strongly opposed to the tradition, so the traditional etiquette basically disappeared. Nowadays, with the pompous society, the influence of the Korean wave and Hollywood, plus some people believe in Western sects, it is very difficult to restore the traditional Chinese culture, or even not even think of restoring it. If China restores the traditional etiquette, perhaps our social morality will be greatly improved, the real realization of the state of etiquette, the image of the gentleman.

Now at home and abroad, there is no specific study of traditional etiquette, many people certainly did not pay attention to, perhaps only when the Chinese nation towards real power, perhaps we will look for our lost things, but I hope this is not my wishful thinking.
