How to treat intracranial arachnoid cyst?

Intracranial arachnoid cysts are often found by accident, such as CT examination after craniocerebral injury and accidental discovery of intracranial arachnoid cysts. The most common sites are lateral fissure, cisterna magna, suprasellar fissure and longitudinal fissure. Small arachnoid cysts can be reviewed regularly without surgical treatment, but they should be reviewed regularly to understand the changes of cysts. If the cyst is large or has compression symptoms, or affects development, surgery should be considered. Intracranial arachnoid cyst was first treated by craniotomy, and the cyst wall was removed, which was traumatic and most patients had a recurrence after operation. Later, intracranial arachnoid cyst underwent cyst-peritoneal shunt, and endoscopic surgery should be chosen.
