"The Trinity."
A creative rule followed in European classical theater. It stipulates that the play must be consistent in place, meaning that the people and events in the play can only be shown in one place; consistent in time, meaning that the story in the play should not last more than 24 hours; and consistent in action. This means that the plot is carried out according to a main line.
This is based on Aristotle's view of the interpretation, supplemented. The Poetics, in its description of the characteristics of the Greek theater, mentions only the unity of the plot and the unity of time. In the 15th century, during the Renaissance, the Italian literary theorists added the unity of place, which became the trinity. Later, in the 17th century, French classical dramatists further regarded it as the code of dramatic creation.
