It is mainly produced in China in Sichuan, W Hubei, Yunnan, Guizhou, and provinces south of the Yangtze River. According to the records, among all the gold nanmu, Sichuan's gold nanmu is the best material. It is one of China's second-class protected plants, with fragrant wood, straight grain and fine structure, not easy to deform and crack, and is an excellent wood for construction and high-level furniture. Historically, the wood was used exclusively for the construction of royal palaces and a few temples, as well as for furniture. The crystals in gold nanmu are obviously more than ordinary nanmu, and the surface of the wood glitters in the sunlight, with gold threads emerging and a light and elegant fragrance.
