Who will write about practicing Tai Chi?

Practicing Taijiquan, like other sports, goes through a process of gradual improvement from birth to familiarity and from familiarity to skill.

Taijiquan has unique characteristics and styles of movement, and it is only by fully embodying the characteristics of such styles and making every posture and movement conform to the essentials that the effect of strengthening the body can be better received.

Roughly speaking, practicing Taijiquan can be divided into three stages. In the first stage, you should lay a good foundation in posture (completed style) and movement (filtered style), and figure out the basic requirements such as step pattern, footwork, legwork, bodywork, hand pattern, manipulation, and eyes in the set, so that you can achieve a correct posture, a stable footwork, and a stretching and soft movement. In the second stage, pay attention to mastering the pattern of change of movement and its characteristics, so as to achieve coherence and coordination, round and natural. The third stage focuses on practicing the use of strength and the natural combination of thoughts, breathing and movement, so that the movement is light and calm, and the body is complete and unified.

In the whole process of exercise, no matter which stage or which step, attention should be paid to maintaining the two basic principles of "quiet mind" and "loose body". Silence of mind and relaxation of body are the most basic requirements determined by the characteristics of taijiquan movement, which plays a guaranteed role in the mastery of other essentials and should be focused on the whole process of practicing taijiquan. "Silence of mind" means concentration of thoughts and mental focus, so that one can concentrate on boxing. "Body relaxation" means that all parts of the body should be kept natural in the movement and unnecessary tension should be eliminated. The correct application of these two points is conducive to mastering the other essentials of Taijiquan, reflecting the movement characteristics of Taijiquan, and improving the effects of fitness and medical treatment. Therefore, some people regard the two points of "looseness" and "quietness" as the basic conditions for good taijiquan.

At different stages of practicing Taijiquan, the mastery of the basic requirements of "relaxation" and "quietness" is gradually deepened from low to high, and it is closely linked with the requirements of technical practice, so that the two aspects cannot be separated.

The exercise value of Taijiquan for the mental system lies in the fact that Taijiquan requires "quietness of mind and relaxation of body", which is a kind of mental restoration and compensation for the practitioners. In the process of exercise, the nerve center area outside the movement is in a state of protective inhibition, and the usual consumption caused by tension is "compensated", and the mental fatigue can be repaired.

Research shows that long-term practice of taijiquan does relieve tension, provide rest and recuperation for the brain nerves, and has obvious curative effects on depression, anxiety and other unhealthy emotions. Most of the movements of taijiquan routines are symmetrical, and the symmetrical movements and the "clear separation of reality and reality" footwork practice can activate and balance the functions of the left and right hemispheres of the brain, and improve and slow down the phenomenon of aging.

Taijiquan has exercise value for cardiovascular system at the same time. The basic mechanism of simplified taijiquan that helps to treat hypertension is the "upper emptiness and lower reality" and "guiding movement with intention", which helps the practitioner spread attention and blood to the lower limbs and relieves the pressure on the blood flow to the brain.

Comparative research data show that practicing taijiquan can lower diastolic and systolic blood pressure, and that it is more effective when combined with medication than when taking medication alone to treat high blood pressure. I've been learning taijiquan from my teacher, Mr. Xu Zhuoqun, for two years now. I would like to talk about some of my own views and experiences of taijiquan.

First, how to choose a good teacher.

Second, the Chinese martial arts in my heart.

Third, how to learn taijiquan.

First, how to choose a good teacher

"Teacher, so the preaching and teaching to solve the confusion."

For taijiquan. The way to pass on the Tao, the way. Broadly speaking, it should be the Tao of "Tao can be Tao is very Tao" as Laozi said. We may as well understand for the universe (up and down the four directions for Yu, ancient and modern said Zeus) everything **** there is a thing. Narrowly speaking, the road can be the way of taiji. Teaching, the industry. In a broader sense, schooling, career, occupation, etc.. Simply put, it can be understood as the business of Taijiquan studies. Solving problems, that is, when a student encounters a problem in the course of following the teacher to realize the Way, the teacher should work with the student to solve the problem. Teachers are not omnipotent, but a good teacher will not let students repeat the detours they have taken. In reality, often the way of transmission is not the right way, or even a crooked way. Teach the industry, also is not the right business. To solve the confusion is not yet, often for the compulsion. Therefore, to examine a good teacher is the first point of virtue.

For taijiquan, more detailed. What exactly is a bright teacher? I understand it this way. First of all, Ming, the word, the left side of a day, the right side of a month. Yin and Yang. To understand yin and yang. This yin and yang, in turn, contains many aspects of many different levels.

For example, above the level of force can be divided into yin and yang. Yin and yang is originally one thing. We are just abstracting the Tao through yin and yang. Some people in the community talk a lot about the yin and yang above the force. At the level of intention, there is the yin and yang of intention. By the same token, other levels have their own yin and yang. There is also yin and yang between different levels. Many truths are relative, there is no absolute. A good teacher should understand the yin and yang, can make students understand the yin and yang through various ways, can be tailored to suit the student's needs, for different levels of different students in different situations to explain the appropriate things. The so-called teacher is not an absolute teacher. Teachers and students can often learn from each other what they lack. Thus, in a broader sense, everyone is our teacher, and all things in heaven and earth are our teachers. Specifically in taijiquan, I believe that the key points of the teacher are: understanding of yin and yang, morality, behavior, and its boxing comes from a very systematic traditional Chinese culture, so a few points.

A good teacher. Also know Chinese medicine. Not simply a generalized understanding. Rather, under the guidance of systematic theory, there has been a good practice teacher. The sky is a large circumference, man is a small circumference. A good understanding of the human body, for other things will be similar. As the old saying goes: "If you don't know Yi, you don't know enough to be a doctor". I think, do not understand Chinese medicine, not enough to say taiji.

All roads lead to Rome. All laws come from the same source. Different teachers will have their own more complete teaching methods. My experience is like this: without the guidance of "theory", a boxing frame is a flower frame. A frame that has theory but no internalization is a manipulation. For a beginner to learn Taijiquan, it is like a blank sheet of paper, he does not know what is right and what is wrong? What is called loose and what is tight?

I'm afraid that even you, who are reading this article, can only say what you think is right or wrong at this moment. Although it is said that the fist hit ten thousand times its reasoning since the emergence. But I'm afraid that each of us has only one piece of white paper. We do not have the capital to try to innovate. All we have is the experience and lessons we inherited from our predecessors before painting. A good painter never puts his brush to work until he has a clear idea of what he wants to do. The white paper is our own, the teacher will give us a good set of brushes, a plate of good ink, a set of good methods, some very valuable experience, but a good teacher will never easily let the students start to scribble on the white paper. As for this painting, it is still our own. Therefore, my experience is that a teacher who really teaches martial arts must first give his students a foundation-building effort. At the same time, the theory is taught in a subtle way, anytime and anywhere. Always test the student's practice of the theory. Without good internal strength, it is very difficult to realize the right or wrong of the stance, and you may only be able to learn it by hearsay and by following the diagrams. With internal strength, we also need to hone our skills and experience in the boxing stance. Why do you feel this way and why do you feel that way? Why do you feel this way and why do you feel that way? The teacher will keep correcting the students and teaching them through physical or non-physical means. Second, the Chinese martial arts in my heart

All laws are still the same, so the world of martial arts is a family. There is no difference between this and that. Clouds or ice sculpture or, rain or pouring rain or, overturning the river or. That thing is water. Whether learning Taiji or, Xingyi, Bagua or, ultimately, the same thing is the Tao. This frame or that pile or this book or that trick. All for one thing. Therefore, to let go of the separate mind. Pointing to the moon's finger is not the moon, cross the river to discard the boat, horse under the mountain, to abandon and climb the mountain. The practice of kung fu may be a continuous process of searching, picking up, experiencing, putting down, and groping again. Those who overemphasize techniques are biased; those who over-emphasize health care are biased; it is like experiencing yin and yang, which are not divided into two, but people are divided into two. The purpose is to experience the changes in the process, and the reasoning behind the changes and constancy. Like the Tai Chi diagram, Yin fish inside the Road, Yang fish inside the Road, fish eyes have Road, alternating Yin and Yang Road. Eight trigrams, Kan in the road, away from the road. There is also the Tao in the intersection of Kan and Li. A person on crutches on the mountain, perhaps too long, too much experience, have forgotten why they want to go up the mountain, to a different place to take different things, only know to take, do not know to put down. The reason why Chinese martial arts is so profound is based on the culture that has been accumulated over thousands of years of people's exploration of the universe, of nature, and of the human body. I am afraid that people who do not know the traditional culture is difficult to experience in the vast text, in the law, deeper things. Nowadays, if you ask: how to write the character "qi", seven out of ten people will get it wrong. All ten people will be seven or eight wrong. If you ask about boxing theory, they will talk about the inner and outer triads, but I am afraid that they are not very clear about why the character "合" is written as "合". I once met a friend of mine who was a Chinese medicine practitioner, and when I asked him about it, he just stumbled over his words or recited Ling Soo wildly. My teacher used to say that taijiquan is a martial art practiced by the literati. I y agree. In the face of the vastness of martial arts, my experience is that the more I progress, the more I realize that martial arts is boundless. The more I feel, the more I y sigh for the way of literature and martial arts. Confucius did his three daily introspections. I think Mr. Confucius, his old man, was really modest. I am afraid that when he said three provinces, he was talking about 84,000 provinces, all the time. I am afraid that those who separate kung fu from daily life will find it difficult to go to the next level. The old-timer's door says that walking, sitting and lying down are inseparable from this. Which one is this one? Oh, you may wish to consider. I'm afraid that Chinese martial arts is just a blink of an eye in the sky. Why obsess over this and that!

Tai Chi has eight trigrams, eight trigrams have shaped intention, shaped intention has Tai Chi.

The world of martial arts is a family, why distinguish between you and me!

Even if the instantaneous life and death is present, lifting the hands and feet can not be exaggerated.

The yin and yang are the same, and the three and two are the same, and they are the same.

No outside, no inside, no inside, no inside, no inside, no outside.

The Tao is difficult to comment. We can only experience the fun of each in a few short years if we are close to the Tao and the Tao.

The world of martial arts is still a family, the Chinese martial arts nature is also a family. I hope you can put down your mind to communicate more, more experience.

Third, how to learn taijiquan

The book has its own face like jade. Books are one of the main ways to learn knowledge. To learn taijiquan, we need to read a lot of books, and I like to read some of these books over and over again: Tao Te Ching (No Broken Chapters), Chuang Tzu, Theory of Taijiquan (Wang Zongyue), The Yellow Emperor's Classic of Internal Medicine, The Yellow Emperor's Classic of the Yin Runes, The Sutra of the Diamond, and The Sutra of the Heart, all of which are very good books, in my opinion. The truths told in them have the law in boxing, medicine contains the way, and a lot of intangible culture is revealed between the lines.

If you don't practice boxing, you will be empty in your old age. It is essential to build a good foundation, and every moment of a lifetime of practice is also building a foundation. The training of basic skills is essential. The physical aspect of the body, flesh, sinews, bones, internal organs, meridians.

The practice of kung fu does not practice boxing, to the old practice is not complete. There is no difference between boxing and kung fu, there is boxing in kung fu, boxing is also kung fu. They all need to be practiced, practiced separately, and practiced together. I'm not sure if I'm going to be able to do that, but I'm going to be able to do that.

Push hands, I like that kind of body contact without any rules :). Maybe they call this thing push hands. I realize that it is through physical contact and non-contact, to experience the mastery of the use of boxing, Gongquan in the mystery. Letting go of the mind and going into contact with friends and teachers is also a form of push hands. There is no win, no loss, no burden. Some push hands are divided into four positive and four corners, and that is indeed push hands. But push hands are not exactly like that. For a beginner, clear physical communication will often make it easier to get in touch with Tai Chi than a lecture or a dazzling routine. The mind must be still to practice boxing. It is only when it is still that it can be fixed. Many subtle things in nature must be quiet in order to experience, as if you are alone in bed quietly, quietly will feel the heartbeat, feel around you and even far away from the subtle movements and changes. Silence is the state and the method. Each teacher, each person has their own unique methods. These things depend on everyone's chance. There are many things that maybe the teacher didn't say directly, but also told you a long time ago :). The more you practice, the finer you will become.

The above mentioned, a whole lot of things, are my experience during this time. I don't have any specifics on what to talk about. Because the heart is also clear that their own experience was not very right, and then through the text to show it is not much. But still put their own this broken broom out for everyone to criticize criticism, so better than looking in the mirror. I wish you all a new harvest in the new year, and spend every day happily.
