The transportation infrastructure of Lu Hua Town is relatively perfect, with roads153km from village to village, and a simple passenger terminal connected with Haimen City. The newly-built sluice is along the newly-built highway, Chen Hai Highway, Limin Road, Dongmen Road, Beimen Road and Ximen Road to Nanmen Wharf. Xinjian Port is an important waterway port in the west of Chongming. The maximum navigable capacity of the newly-built port sluice is 150 tons.
