1953101On October 6th, Fuzhou College of Traditional Chinese Medicine, the predecessor of Fujian College of Traditional Chinese Medicine, was established. 65438-0959 Provincial People's Hospital and Provincial Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine were approved to be merged into the direct leadership of Fujian College of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Since then, the school has formed a management system combining teaching, medicine and scientific research. 1976, Fujian Provincial Committee made a decision to restore Fujian College of Traditional Chinese Medicine and set up a preparatory leading group.

From 65438 to 0985, the school began to develop postgraduate education. 1994, the school has departments of traditional Chinese medicine, orthopedics, acupuncture and massage, traditional Chinese medicine and modern medicine, and public foundation, with 4 undergraduate majors, 4 specialist majors and 5 master's programs.
