What traditional art galleries are there in Chengdu?

At the foot of the Millennium Laojun Mountain, about 40 kilometers away from Chengdu, there is a place called "Knowledge Art Museum".

The works of the famous Japanese designer Kengo Kuma are very special and beautiful. The symbol of the art museum is the combination of tile elements and waterscape of traditional architecture in Sichuan. The tiles on the facade are hung in series with special materials, as if floating in the air. The building takes local traditional bricks and tiles as elements, and integrates modernism minimalism with the surrounding mountains, flowing water and other scenery, which sets off the artistic conception of China classical literati's landscape painting.

Walking around, you will find that the outline of the art museum is smooth and the movements are appropriate. There will also be exhibitions indoors, and you can register your ID card for free. It is far from Chengdu, so it is recommended to go by car.

2. Chengdu Museum of Contemporary Art

Chengdu Museum of Contemporary Art is located in Tianfu Software Park, the largest single software park in Asia, close to Tianfu Avenue, the central axis of the city. Its unique geographical location and environment make it a unique landscape where science and technology complement each other.

The building is divided into east and west floors, with special exhibition and research spaces such as collection room with constant temperature and humidity, academic lecture hall for simultaneous interpretation, high-definition audio-visual multifunctional projection hall, contemporary art books and documents center, and supporting facilities such as MOCA shops and cafes.

3. Land Rover A4 Art Museum

A4 Art Museum is located in the art exhibition center of Land Rover Eco-city in Tianfu New District, Chengdu, and was founded by Anthony, the "father of earth architecture". Predo Predo is in charge of architectural design. The art exhibition center built by the lake is integrated with the surrounding red sandstone landform and has become one of the landmark buildings in Tianfu New District.

The red sandstone building built by the lake can be regarded as one of the most beautiful buildings in Chengdu. Outdoor greening is well maintained, and every detail is exquisite, suitable for indoor and outdoor photos.

A4 Art Museum includes three independent exhibition halls designed by DesignARC, independent children's art museum, public library, academic lecture hall, art shop, art coffee and other functional spaces, showing the historical and future charm of Chengdu.

4. New Landing Art Museum.

Chengdu Landing Art Museum is built on a gentle slope hill, adjacent to 3,600 mu Egret Bay Wetland Park.

The existing venues include the old one in the Lotus Pond Moonlight Scenic Area and the new one designed by Liu Jiakun, a famous architect in China. The new venue contains four independent exhibition halls. Hundreds of acres of Jinjiang Wetland Sculpture Exhibition Area integrate works of art with nature.

Tickets: Outdoor is free, and tickets are needed for the exhibition.

5.Rokuyaon Stone Carving Art Museum

The first private museum in Sichuan province. More than 1000 pieces of stone carvings from past dynasties to Ming and Qing dynasties were collected in the small thematic museum, mainly from Han Dynasty to Tang and Song Dynasties.

The main body of the museum is located on the largest forest flat in the base, and the bamboo forest becomes a natural separation between them. The path connects the various areas in series and is gradually built along the way. The airport passes through the bamboo forest and leads to the entrance on the lotus pond.

This is a little-known museum with few people. The buildings and greening inside are all Zen designs, which are very quiet. It's far from the city, so it's recommended to go by car.
