Classification of white tea

1, Gongmei: Gongmei white tea is made from the bud leaves of Fuding vegetable tea (another name for the general shrub tea tree in Fujian tea area). Usually "Gongmei" means top grade, and quality is better than longevity. The standard for making beautiful fresh leaves is one bud and two leaves to one bud and three leaves. Tea buds are required to contain tender buds and strong buds when picking. The production technology of Gongmei is divided into primary processing and refined processing, and the production method is basically the same as that of Bai Mudan tea.

High-quality Gongmei finished tea has obvious milli-heart, white and rich milli-color, green dry tea, orange or dark yellow after brewing, even, soft and bright leaf bottom, and the main pulse is red when the leaves look at the light. Feel mellow, fresh and pure when drinking.

2. Shoumei: Shoumei is one of the varieties with the highest yield of white tea, accounting for about half of the total output of white tea. Shoumei is a finished product made of Fuding Dabai tea, Fuding Dahao tea and one-bud, three-leaf and four-leaf tea, or a finished product made of leaves left after picking tender leaves in the process of making Baihao Yinzhen.

3. Bai Hao Silver Needle: Bai Hao Silver Needle, referred to as Bai Hao, also known as Silver Needle, is named for its dense Bai Hao, silvery white and needle-like appearance. Its fragrance is fresh, the soup is light yellow and delicious. It is the best in white tea and is known as the "beauty" and "tea king" in tea. Bai Hao Silver Needle is traditionally a finished product made from the bud head of Dabai tea or narcissus tea tree.

Bai Mudan: The green leaves in Bai Mudan look like a flower with a silvery white heart. After brewing, the green leaves hold the buds, just like the original buds, hence the name. Bai Mudan is the best product in white tea, which is made from the short bud leaves of Dabai tea tree or narcissus tree.

5. New technology white tea: The fresh leaves of new technology white tea are similar to longevity eyebrows and tribute eyebrows, but after withering, the dry tea is slightly distorted and looks like a bunch, and the aroma is similar to oolong tea. Although the physical and chemical reaction caused by cell wall rupture caused by kneading is slight, it is essentially different from the traditional white tea without frying and kneading.
