What is a microbial inhibition test?
Is the bacteriostatic test.
The test used to determine the efficacy of antibacterial drugs in inhibiting bacterial growth in vitro is called bacteriostatic test. Through bacteriostatic experiment, the minimum bacteriostatic concentration of a drug can be determined to evaluate its bacteriostatic performance, which is the most basic pharmacodynamic data of antibacterial drugs. The main methods are qualitative diffusion method (such as bacteriostatic spot test) and quantitative dilution method (such as minimum inhibitory concentration test).
