First, the old fisherman who is used to fishing with the hook can use the cross hook fishing method instead. Choose a big float that can be seen clearly and increase the bottom drop. As long as you meet the requirements of balance, you can still catch fish. Second, if you don't want to change, you can still use the hook, but you need to make some improvements (including using the mandarin duck hook). The solution is: add a lead pendant under the hook. You don't have to worry, it will affect the fish's bite. The author has used this method to fish for many years, which not only proves its practicability, but also has another advantage, that is, according to the situation of fish, by moving the added landing point, the "hook" can be raised from the bottom to catch those fish that don't eat the bottom food. Thirdly, fishermen who don't want to give up fishing in Taiwan Province can add a traditional star drift to the drift tail. The size and number depend on the need (see figure).
