Film developing and printing strategy

Film printing is a job that requires skill and patience, but as long as the correct steps are mastered, the memories of film can become precious pictures. This article will introduce the whole process of film printing to help you master this skill easily.

Dumping developer

First, pour the film into the developer and soak it for 3 minutes 15 seconds. The temperature should be controlled at 37.8 degrees plus or minus 0.5 degrees, so that the film can match the color.

Tap water flushing

Next, put the film into flowing water for development and keep it for 30 seconds. Ensure the water temperature is between 34-39 degrees, and easily clean the development residue.

Adding bleaching solution

Then, add bleaching solution and let it stand for 6-8 minutes. Keep the right temperature to make the color more vivid.

Rinse again

Next, rinse for another 2 minutes, once every minute. The water temperature is still between 34 and 39 degrees, ensuring pure color.

Film stabilization

After the film is stabilized, pour the stabilizing liquid and let it stand for 1 min. No need to stir, let the time settle beautifully.

drying process

After the last development, dry the film. The process is particularly important, to ensure that the temperature does not exceed 50 degrees. If the temperature is too high, the film will curl, which will affect the viewing effect.
