How to establish a systematic and coordinated teaching system of integrating Chinese excellent traditional culture into the curriculum?

In recent years, the teaching of excellent traditional culture in China has created many vivid and effective experiences and cases, but there are still four outstanding problems.

The first is the disconnection between "spiritual inheritance" and "skill inheritance". Excellent traditional culture enters the course teaching, the inheritance of cultural spirit is the core and soul, and the inheritance of cultural skills is the carrier and flesh and blood. The combination of the two is strong, and the division is weak. However, some schools pay more attention to skills than soul in the inheritance of cultural skills, which leads to the failure to sublimate skills to the essence and form cultural genes and cultural backgrounds.

The second is the overall arrangement of "subsection inheritance" and "through inheritance". The integration of excellent traditional culture into curriculum teaching runs through all stages from enlightenment education to continuing education. According to the age characteristics and educational requirements of students in different classes, the key points and methods of teaching are determined, and a progressive system of course teaching is formed, which is gradual, individualized and runs through. It is necessary to avoid the situation that children and primary school students are difficult to read classics, rote memorization and encouragement; It is necessary to reduce the phenomenon that college and middle school students make up the three-character classics and disciples' rules instead of reading literature, history and philosophy, and the order is reversed and the level is not high.

The third is the integration of "professional courses" and "subject courses". Excellent traditional culture needs to be integrated into all aspects of ideological and moral education, cultural knowledge education and art and physical education, which requires appropriate setting of special courses, but more importantly, it needs to be deeply integrated into the original subject courses. For example, integrate and strengthen the education of "the essence of Chinese excellent cultural spirit" in ideological and moral courses.

Fourth, the combination of "sex course" and "characteristic course". The introduction of excellent traditional culture into the course teaching is mainly to effectively enter the "sex course", that is, the compulsory course teaching of the teaching plan promulgated by the state or local government. As a supplement, it should be effectively integrated into "characteristic courses", that is, local courses and school-based courses as elective courses. We should integrate the two courses, but we should take the "sex course" as the guidance and the "characteristic course" as the supplement and expansion.

To solve the above four problems, the relevant departments need to make overall consideration, unified design and synchronous arrangement, study and issue relevant guiding opinions, course teaching guides and practical teaching cases, and promote the establishment of a systematic and coordinated teaching system for Chinese excellent traditional culture.
