The origin of the name Longshu Candy

The name of Dragon Beard Candy originated from Emperor Zhengde of the Ming Dynasty.

When Emperor Zhengde of the Ming Dynasty traveled to the countryside, he found that there was a kind of dessert known as "Silver Silk Sugar", which was instantly melted in the mouth, sweet and dense, and was very popular. So, he ordered to bring this dessert back to the palace, and named "dragon beard sugar", "dragon" on behalf of the emperor, "beard" on behalf of the pull out of the sugar wire.
