Brief introduction of Yuezhou town

Yuezhou Town, located 30 kilometers south of Qilin District, is one of the satellite towns in Qujing. Dongshan town in the east, luliang county in the south, Rongfengfeng in the west, Sanbao Town and Ciying Township in the north, which belong to the Mid-Levels Dam Area. National Highway 326, Qulu High-grade Highway and Zhanliao Highway run through the whole territory from north to south, and Huangluo Highway runs through the central part from east to west, with convenient transportation. With a land area of 263 square kilometers, there are Nanpanjiang River, Nixi River and Shuicheng River in the territory, and there are abundant groundwater resources in the caves of Dongxishan. The whole town has jurisdiction over 14 village committees, 90 village groups and 102 natural villages. The total cultivated land area of the town is 55 17 1 mu, including 24,557 mu of paddy field and 306 14 mu of dry land, with a per capita cultivated land of 0.92 mu. This area is rich in lignite, porcelain clay and limestone. The annual average temperature 14.5℃ and the average rainfall 1000- 1200mm.
