Types and classification of wooden pallets

Flat pallet is almost synonymous with pallet. As long as the pallet is mentioned, it generally refers to the flat pallet, because the flat pallet has the widest range of use, the largest number and the best versatility. Flat pallets can be subdivided into three types.

(1) according to the structure and use classification. There are four kinds: single-sided, double-sided, double-sided and airfoil;

(2) According to the forklift insertion mode, there are three types: one-way insertion, two-way insertion and four-way insertion;

2. Tray

Trays can be divided into fixed and detachable types. Its basic structure is that there are steel columns at the four corners of the tray, and the upper ends of the columns can be connected by beams to form a frame type. The main functions of column tray are as follows: first, use columns to support heavy objects and stack them high; Second, it can prevent the goods placed on the pallet from collapsing during transportation and loading and unloading.

3, box tray

A box tray is a tray with side plates on all sides. Some boxes have a top plate, others have no top plate. There are three kinds of box boards: fixed, folding and detachable. There are plate-type, grid-type and net-type fences around it, so the box-type pallet with fence-type fences around it is also called cage pallet or barn pallet. The box tray has strong protective ability, which can prevent collapse and damage to goods; It can load irregular goods that can not be stacked stably, and has a wide application range.

4. Wheeled pallet

Compared with column tray and box tray, the lower part of wheeled tray has more small wheels. Therefore, the wheeled pallet shows the advantages of short-distance movement, self-loading and unloading or up-rolling and down-loading and unloading, and has a wide range of uses and strong applicability.

The first warehouse should be strictly guard against theft.

Article 2 Non-material storage personnel shall not enter the warehouse at will, and the material storage personnel shall be responsible for stopping it, or they shall be punished according to the regulations.

Article 3 Fire fighting equipment shall be installed in and near the warehouse, and fire fighting equipment shall be arranged at appropriate positions to ensure safety.

Article 4 The warehouse shall be equipped with measuring instruments that have passed the examination by the Bureau of Standards, and shall be calibrated and properly kept at any time to avoid the difference between receiving and sending materials. Measuring instruments should be calibrated at least once a year.

Article 5 All materials shall be arranged neatly by category, and the name and number of materials shall be marked on the "Material Grade Card", and the storage location map of various materials shall be drawn.

Article 6 Explosive and inflammable dangerous articles shall be separated from other articles, and marked with "No Fireworks" in a conspicuous position and insured.

Article 7 Unprocessed and inspected materials shall be stored separately from received materials.

Article 8 Important materials shall be specially stored and locked.

Article 9 Materials that have not gone through the acquisition procedures according to regulations shall not be distributed, and perishable materials shall be distributed in a "first-in, first-out" manner.

Article 10 The material storage department shall conduct material receiving and dispatching operations according to the material receiving and dispatching documents and record them in the "Material Receiving and Dispatching Record Form".

★ Tray classification:

● It is divided into wooden pallet, plastic tray, steel tray, iron tray, paper tray, foam tray, etc.

Among them, wooden pallet is divided into: solid wood pallet (Yang wooden pallet), pine pallet, miscellaneous wooden pallet, etc. ) and plywood pallet (fumigation-free pallet);

Poplar: Broad-leaved tree with loose and soft material and poor durability, suitable for making pallets with low load-bearing requirements. The price is lower.

Pine: It belongs to coniferous tree species, with many kinds and wide applicability. Larix gmelinii (Pinus ponderosa) is one of the commonly used tree species for manufacturing pallets because of its rough texture, hard wood and moderate price. White pine and Korean pine are delicate in texture, white in color and beautiful in appearance, and are mostly used to make exquisite packaging materials, with higher prices.

Hard miscellaneous wood: it belongs to broad-leaved tree species, and its wood hardness is high. Common sawn timber used to make pallets are elm, birch, locust and willow. Its texture is dense, the wood is hard and heavy, and its bearing capacity is good. However, there are few large profiles and the price is moderate.

Plastic pallets are divided into injection pallets and blow pallets.

● Divided into two-way fork delivery tray and four-way tray according to the fork delivery direction;

General pallet manual forklift and two-way fork mechanical forklift are suitable, and four-way fork forklift is suitable for mechanical forklift;

● According to the purpose of the tray, it is divided into: double-layer tray and single-sided tray;

Double-deck pallet is generally used for warehouse turnover, which is firm and durable; It is also suitable for palletizing (palletizing: putting the goods on the pallet and then putting the goods on the pallet).

Single-sided pallet is economical and durable, and it is also a good choice for warehouse turnover delivery; One-sided trays are roughly Sichuan-shaped, field-shaped and nine-legged;
