As one of the six Sino-Japanese local development cooperation demonstration zones in China, the cooperation demonstration zone covers the whole area of Xiangcheng District of Suzhou City, and the central area of 38.5 square kilometers has started construction. The central area is located in Xiangcheng State-level Economic Development Zone, Soviet-Soviet Cooperation Zone and High-speed Railway New Town, with the layout of "one core and two wings" and the image of "Oriental Pearl", which is entrusted with the beautiful wish of China and Japan to take off hand in hand.

At present, the Sino-Soviet Cooperation Zone has signed 58 Japanese-funded projects such as Mizuho Bank, Itochu Corporation, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Smart City and Itochu China Headquarters, and more than 150 Japanese-funded projects are being docked. In the next three years, we will keep a close eye on the China headquarters and regional headquarters of the world's top 500 Japanese companies, with the goal of setting up more than 100 Japanese-funded projects every year.

The centralized signing of a number of major projects has injected a strong impetus into the high-quality development of Xiangcheng District in Suzhou. It is understood that Xiangcheng District will give full play to its advantages in location, space, ecology and industry under the overall framework of Suzhou's construction of "China New Era Open Demonstration Zone".
