I believe everyone has a historical "idol", especially many boys. Although I am a girl, I also have a historical "idol" that I admire very much. My historical idol is Zhuge Liang.

I got to know Zhuge Liang by reading The Romance of the Three Kingdoms. Zhuge Liang, named Kong Ming, word Wolong, Han nationality. He was the prime minister of Shu and Han in the Three Kingdoms period, and also an outstanding politician, strategist, essayist, calligrapher and inventor. When he was alive, he was named marquis of Wuxiang, and after his death, he pursued loyalty to marquis of Wuxiang. The Dongwu regime elected him king of Wu Xin because of his military ability. He once invented Liu Ma and Kong Dengming, who worked as cattle herders, and transformed Lianluan into Zhuge Lianluan. He devoted his life to death, and was one of the representatives of loyal ministers and wise men in China traditional culture.

He also has a goose feather fan, which represents wisdom and talent. There are sixteen feathers on that fan, of which eight are goose feathers, four are swan feathers and four are domestic goose feathers. The other eight are duck feathers, four of which are wild duck feathers and four are domestic duck feathers.

In the Romance of the Three Kingdoms, Zhuge Liang has the ability to govern the country and the army. His excellent character of saving the world and loving the people, modesty and prudence has become a good example for various outstanding historical figures in later generations, who all learn from him. Historically, monarchs, scholars and ordinary people praised him from different angles. Zhuge Liang's great influence in history has surpassed his political and military practice in the history of the Three Kingdoms. Romance of the Three Kingdoms highlights the positive aspects of Zhuge Liang's good character, excellent moral character and great achievements in his life.
