Mother's old object-teapot
It's an old object, because it's bigger than me, and there's no way to prove how big it is.
When I was a child, the first thing my mother did when she got up in the morning was to hold firewood, make a fire and boil water in a cauldron. When the water boils, put on the thermos and teapot, and then put them on the big cabinet in the back room. The big cupboard is filled with all kinds of things, including photo frames, alarm clocks, mirrors, a big enamel tea tray with a teapot on it and six cups around it, and so on. Of course, there is usually no tea in the teapot. At that time, we didn't like drinking tea at all. So that we can drink cold boiled water when we are thirsty. Tea leaves are only put in the teapot when guests come.
Once, I was very young and didn't go to school. I am eager to play outside. I rushed home and saw the teapot just on the top. I picked up the teapot with both hands and poured it into my mouth. In an instant, I was in tears. My parents heard you crying and ran in. I poured the freshly boiled water into my mouth and cried. Dad picked me up in his arms and ran quickly to the village clinic. I cried all the way. I don't remember what happened afterwards. I don't remember what medicine I used, how it went and how long it took. I only remember crying and doing such a stupid thing that ruined my future.
After a long time, I hid when I saw the teapot. As time went on, I made up with the teapot. At that time, it naturally became a joke of adults, which was used as a negative teaching material to warn other brothers.
The years are slowly flowing. I went to primary school, middle school and university. 15 years passed. The teapot is still quietly placed in the old place, but it is not used often. Later, my father died, the old house was renovated, my brother got married, the furniture at home was changed, and the big cabinet became a wardrobe. It turns out that there is nowhere to put those objects on the big cabinet. Commonly used ones are put in conspicuous places, and those that are not commonly used are put away in the corner. The teapot faded out of our sight and was slowly forgotten.
Later, I was assigned to work in a place more than 500 miles away from home, and I didn't go home many times a year. It took me more than 30 years. The old teapot stayed in the corner silently for more than 30 years. Before cleaning every year, I will also see it, take it out and clean it, but I will still put it back because it is really useless. But it is good and unbreakable, and it is hard to throw away. Besides, there is homesickness at home, so the teapot stays there safely.
This summer, I saw it, carefully invited it out, cleaned it up, took photos of it, moved it from one room to another, and wanted to put it in the light, but I still didn't know where to put it, so I had to put it back in the original corner.
Perhaps it has completed its mission and can enjoy the future.
