How do children read China's books —— My children's experience in reading Chinese studies. My child Jie Chen is ten years old and loves reading —— I'm not showing off, but complaining. After watching the TV series "The History of the Three Kingdoms" two years ago, the children became fascinated, watching the romance of the Three Kingdoms by themselves, then various scripts, and then turning from historical romance novels to history books. China's traditional books are often put together in bookstores, so he changed from "history" to "classics". This process is really hard for me, and there are many puzzles that I can't solve. First, the normal and instinct that bothers children to read history books is to absorb more and reflect less. Our traditional attitude towards Chinese studies is to be convinced without doubt. So many things happened. After seeing the Three Kingdoms, Cao Cao is a traitor and a villain. I have to dig out "A Short Song" and "Although turtles live long" to make a lot of corrections. This is still a trivial matter, and problems far more serious than evaluating a single historical figure are gradually emerging. After seeing the Three Kingdoms, the children learned a "truth" that everything should be "calculated": using people's hearts, speaking strategically, provoking one to toss another, obviously thinking so, doing so, polishing all aspects, etc., and soon learned to use it, it is hard to say. Playing with friends often produces moths, and occasionally whispers "I will sue you." Although those circuitous "intrigues" are clumsy, this kind of thinking is very bad. If intrigue becomes the main rule of the game, then the game will always be bad. But the children don't think so. They are addicted to it, feel smart, and dream of playing with people in applause. During the period of watching the Water Margin, children kept their mouths shut about the words "grandma's" and "cudgel", and the word "bird" came out. I don't appreciate the comfort of bloody books, and with shamanism and corpse blood, I gradually developed several standard shapes: one foot on the chair, one hand rested on her hips, the other hand struck the table, and then drew a knife on airs and said, "Cut the crap, let's go in with a red knife and come out with a white knife!" Red and white knives are often read backwards. This has been his signature move for some time. When I asked, I said three dozen Zhujiazhuang. Stealing and killing the chicken in the shop when moving, and lying arrogantly. Later, I wanted my family to be bloodied and killed Hu Jiazhuang at the contract center. Are these heroes? The way they "won" Lu Junyi, the way they treated prisoners of war, and the steamed stuffed bun shop were not disgusting? The child was too lazy to discuss with me, waved his hand and said, in a word, heroes are like this! As the saying goes, old people don't read the Three Kingdoms, and young people don't read the Water Margin. It probably means that when you are young, your blood is boiling and you are fighting it. After reading the Water Margin, I was afraid of causing rebellion and impulse. He is old, experienced and smart. After reading the Three Kingdoms, he will feel at ease, hurting others externally and hurting his own mood internally. In my opinion, blood and intrigue are the two worst things in the Water Margin and the Three Kingdoms, which are printed on children. When children study, they will naturally be unable to resist "Yi De". When they are in a hurry, they will pass. Don't be too nervous. But I am still willing to give him a break. This is not only a joke, but also instills a reading position of "questioning and reflection". For the sake of debate, I specially reread the book Water Margin, which didn't appeal to me. I asked a question, what would happen if Liangshan really got Zhao's country? I dragged other soldiers to argue for a long time and reached a unanimous conclusion: I don't know if it is worse, but it will definitely not be better. Liangshan's slogan is just one: "Doing Heaven for Heaven". "Heaven" and "Tao" have long been worn out by the emperor. There is nothing new, so why not repeat it later? This is still a "good" result. The bad result is written in the book: the emperor said, I am the son of heaven. You kill people in the street, they kill tigers and Fang La. Finally, they will die after drinking a cup of poisoned wine, thank the Lord Long En. Pisces and fighting are either forced to go on, or they are bent on "sealing their wives and showing their ancestors" and can't get it. Rely on Liangshan or the imperial court to achieve the goal, but the means are different. Therefore, they are really in power, the dynasty will change, and the essence will not change. I hope the children can understand: First, there is no higher thought and culture, just a cavity of indignation and two fists are harmful to the progress of society and mankind, almost without exception. Secondly, violence may be "very useful", but it will certainly breed death, hatred and disrespect for life. These are all human toxins. Violence has always been a problem, especially after reading history. The child just began to read the story of Historical Records, but also slapped the book hard and shouted: "Wu Qi, a bad guy, wants to prove his loyalty and divorce, so he won't kill his wife!" Or cover the book and sigh, "Who can be a heartless person and read it when he is finished?" But I'm getting used to it. It's normal for Zhao Xiangzi to paint Zhibo's skull as a drinking cup. While reading Zi Tongzhi Jian, he casually asked, What's in Dong Zhuo's stomach? When he read The Romance of the Three Kingdoms, he also asked what a sky lantern was, and then stood silently and said "terrible" and "abnormal", which is now used to it. When we were chatting, we said it was a pity to demolish Beijing, but he cut in and said, What a pity! Epang Palace was burned, and so was Rome. I also asked curiously and excitedly, I don't know how long it will take if Beijing is set on fire. Not three months, right? Zhu Houzhao's vivid performance. He is awakened to blood and brutally immune, and he can describe the torture methods in Dongchang prison in a strange way. Human beings have come from barbarism, and violence exists in various cultural traditions, even grimm's fairy tales are no exception. The children are reading the history book "A Day Trip to Ancient Rome". Speaking of death penalty and gladiator, they won't show it to him. Personally, I'll take some precautions first: this is the "eighteen prohibitions". Bloody is wrong. It can be seen that violence is really a worldwide problem. But in any case, ignoring other people's lives and feelings is always a problem that should be reminded. There is also the breeding of historical fear. It's like watching the history of selling black slaves. After the child learned that sitting together was related to each other, he counted every day for a while: My cousin's nephew committed a crime, do I have to die? Grandma and sister's son-in-law committed a crime, and the people next door killed someone. Will it involve me? It is also sensitive to the number of "copying the whole door" and "Julien Jiuzu". He calculated that there were more than 400 students in the sixth grade of primary school, plus teachers and principals, which was a medium-sized outrage. "How many times does the average emperor lose his temper in his life?" He asked. I can feel the kind of fear that seems to be a joke, but in fact it is real, which silently affects his spirit and thoughts. He once said, "I will never make the emperor angry!" " I asked, "Does the emperor want you to kill me?" He thought for a moment and said shyly, "If I kill you, you will die, too. If I don't kill you, we will all die. " Makes me speechless. Maintaining rule by terror is the first principle of autocracy, which is very successful! Later, the children read some vernacular and note novels in bits and pieces and enjoyed it. I'm watching, but I'm worried. That kind of feeling is like watching a child eat fish unscrupulously, and my mother is nearby, so I am afraid that he will get stuck. If it gets stuck, you can take it out. If you are poisoned, you are in big trouble. One day watching Journey to the West, the child suddenly asked, if you want to do it, you must be a demon. What do you mean? After practicing for a long time, the little monster Piaget was killed by the Monkey King with a stick. This has something to do with immortals. Is their mounts, pages and so on. Bring it back later. Finally, the master and apprentice finally reached the Western Heaven, but it was difficult. Ye Jia did not receive bribes, but only gave them wordless scriptures. The children even commented that they deserved it, who made them "stingy" and offended people around Buddha. This kind of thinking inevitably makes me wary. When he had a conflict with his children in kindergarten, I had already seen problems such as justice, fairness and institutional norms. I don't want him to throw it away so easily. In Part D of Sikuquanshu, I prefer poetry and prose, but children like novels and read many scripts and romance novels. I suggested that he turn from fiction to non-fiction. The content of the traditional sword is not good, so he can't understand it. Lv Simian's A General History of China, he thinks there are too many names and it is easy to be confused. So he let go of himself and looked at himself.

Whether reading novels or reading history, I have too many things to explain. Parents really need patience. The relationship between monarch and minister, castration, feet, wives and concubines, especially the way of thinking and behavior of the ancients, are too many for children to understand. How could Allah ask Ibrahim to kill his son to sacrifice, and Ibrahim actually listened? But also achieved the grand Eid al-Adha in Islam! Li Yi sorry Huo Xiaoyu, Huo Xiaoyu's revenge is to let Li Yi's wife be killed and abused! Liu Yi's hero saved America. He fell in love with each other after the disaster. It is time to get married. Why didn't he promise? The child can't figure it out.

There are also many "incredible" in history. Just because the prince said two words of secrecy, Tian Guang wiped his neck? Hou Ying sent away Xin, the thief who saved Zhao. Why did he kill himself when he was alive? There are too many stories about death in history books. The courtiers committed suicide mainly, and the ministers committed suicide for you. When the dynasty changes, Prince Sun Huang Chen Zhong will commit suicide. He asked, didn't you say that life is the most precious and sacred? Is the fear of death not noble enough, heartless enough, unjust enough and brave enough? The assassin in Historical Records didn't excite him, just because others treated you better and gave you some face and gifts. Even if you are "grateful to meet him", who can you point to and kill? Jade asked Xiangzi to kill him strangely. If he couldn't kill him, he had to be rewarded with clothes, stabbed himself with a few swords, and then committed suicide. This is ridiculous. Smelly feet are intoxicating. When the country is ruined, kill your wife first and then commit suicide. When the mother was robbed, she killed her daughter first and then committed suicide. What did the ancients think? The woman in The Biography of a Woman has to cut off her arm when she is pulled. How can she do it?

For children, these bizarre stories or historical facts are simply magical worlds. After experiencing too many incredible things, the child came to a conclusion: the ancients were really strange.

Of course, I can tell the truth about this "strange" question, but the child has no theory, and he only judges by common sense. Some of this common sense is thanks to modern science, while others are lucky to be "uneducated". Ignorance and value limitation, until distortion and loss of common sense, are another magic weapon of authoritarian rule.

My way is, or recommend him to read similar articles or opposite stories to let him know the diversity and complexity of history. Children are used to reading the historical stories of "One" and "One". It may be useless to talk about the abstract truth that "history is not isolated, but systematic", but letting him know that there is such a sentence may plant a seed to understand history.

Reading history makes my child's head big, and my child's discussion makes my head big. Happily, however, he began to think. It's better for Cao Mo not to kill Qi Huangong, or for Jing Ke to stab the king of Qin. It is right for a big country to undermine the unity of a small country, and it is also right for a small country to resist the big country's insistence on division. These ideas have no answers, but they are the best. But these questions were raised by me first. Without me to follow his reading and guide his thinking, it is difficult to predict where the gathering of history will lead his thoughts. I don't know what else he read and accepted, so I don't know ... 2. Reading the classics, which disturbed the history, reduced the interest of children, and because I said, "Reading classics is like sitting in the spring breeze, reading history bleeds", he chose to sit in the spring breeze. There are many "children's Chinese learning enlightenment classics" cloned from each other, and there are pictures and stories that children love to watch. I also support it. Although I don't agree with the so-called "fever of Chinese studies", I always think it is extremely important to study and find the roots, otherwise I don't even know where I came from. How can we know ourselves? General traditional enlightenment books, such as three, hundreds, thousands, etc. , can be read. You don't need to recite at all, but you need to know the conventional traditional knowledge from San Amethyst and Lin Qiong, get in touch with the ancient code of conduct from Disciples' Rules and Zhu Zi's Family Instructions, and get to know some serious responsibilities of benevolence, righteousness, courtesy, wisdom, faith, respect, modesty, openness, courage and the world. But he reads the Bible, so I have to adjust the early warning mechanism and pay attention to eliminating those bad potential ideas. Moreover, classics are more harmful than others, because children can see the "eccentricity" in some historical collections and think about it, while classics are reasonable, but problem children can't see them. When they read aloud, their thoughts were infiltrated. It is good to tell an inspirational story to encourage reading, but the reason for "study hard" is embarrassing. In addition to maintaining the suspicious nature of goodness, it is to "make a name for yourself, show the power of parents, and be light before getting rich." Speaking of it, "being an official" at an early age is a shining example. What do officials do? Isn't it, powerful, rich, the world can eat? If you don't study, you are not as good as a girl. It is "not as good as things". This kind of gender consciousness implies this naked instrumental temptation, and it is useless to equate people's value with the usefulness of things. There is no transcendental value, which makes people afraid. (Yes, gender awareness. Mirror Flower Edge is a book that both mother and son are satisfied with. I appreciate the irony. He likes his wild imagination, but the child's criticism is that "all the good things are taken up by women, which is too outrageous." Later, after careful study, this kind of "male chauvinism" aesthetic and female discrimination comes from the water margin and the three-character classic, as well as the ubiquitous "Gankun Yin and Yang" in old novels. I don't know what parents who let their daughters recite the three-character sutra think. At least in my opinion, the education of "being a father at home and becoming a husband" and "being a virtuous woman and a virtuous man" not only affects girls, but also educates boys about their family structure, husband-wife relationship and self-identity. This is no small matter. Utilitarianism is actually not a unique problem of the three-character classics. Throughout the cultural tradition, knowledge, civilization and wisdom have always been emphasized in reading and preaching. In the final analysis, reading is only a means to change fate, and reading is always a stepping stone. What really makes people admire is being an official and being an official. The same is true of the so-called "making a name for yourself" in Yan Family Instructions. After all, there are only a few people who can say that "reading is aimed at sages, not disciples" ("Zhu Zi Jia Xun"), but along Zhu's path, you will find that the ancients did not attach importance to knowledge and learning, from another level. The mode of discipleship begins with filial piety, ends with filial piety, ends with love, and ends with love. Finally, if you have spare capacity, you will learn and follow the highest teachings of Confucius. From a good point of view, this kind of thinking attaches importance to practice, "action" and theory and "knowledge", but from the perspective of demonstrating the purpose of reading, it is still biased. Compare the beginning of Aristotle's Metaphysics: knowledge is human nature. Even if it is not practical, we are happy to use our feelings. Human exploration stems from the surprise of everything in nature. Knowledge itself makes us happy, full, happy and full. He distinguished knowledge from wisdom: wisdom aims at itself and makes people free. Exploring philosophy is only to get rid of stupidity, not for any other benefit. People are born free and should live for themselves, not for others. Philosophy is the only academic discipline established for itself. It may be perfect, but in the traditional culture's search for knowledge, although there is a saying that "ancient scholars are for themselves, and today's scholars are human beings", on the whole, it lacks the dimension of "taking oneself as the purpose rather than the means", which I still think is a great pity. I'm not ashamed to talk about this with my children. Of course, the worst thing is the tendency of instrumentalization and utilitarianism in reading. How straightforward Bai Juyi said: What do you want from the camp? Nothing but profit and fame. The fame in imperial examinations almost constituted the whole cultural history of China in his later period. This kind of thinking really has a subtle influence. Nowadays, parents still educate their children in this way, pointing to sanitation workers and saying loudly: "Don't study hard, sweep the road when you grow up!" No respect for others, no concern for children's hearts. The reason why we should be alert to the utilitarian orientation of education is that its harm is endless: 1, strengthening the occupational hierarchy and instilling the concept of "inequality", from which inferiority, inferiority, conceit and arrogance all come. Self-esteem and respect for others are lost from here. 2. Related to it, you can only get happiness and a sense of accomplishment by comparing with others in the future, and then take the first step of losing yourself. 3, the utilitarian nature of learning, out of the "fun of pure knowledge", the pursuit of life and the realm of life has since declined. 4, only rely on success or failure to talk about heroes ... Sometimes I simply can't understand how people can pursue so little: ordinary, envious but "rich and fat", so pitiful; If you are more ambitious, you should aim to surpass others. "It's terrible to be crowned and shake your head." . I often think that it would be wrong to think that everything in ancient China was bad on the dog officials. There have always been only two kinds of dog officials in China: those who are working as dog officials and those who have not worked as dog officials for the time being. Farmers bullied by village cadres today also educated their sons: study hard and become officials in the future! Can't we pursue something else, a higher pursuit: to make individual life more noble and social system more reasonable? When will happiness and dignity in our life no longer be based on wealth and status (children's test scores), so that the system can ensure that the humblest people can enjoy dignity as much as enjoying the air? I don't think Hundred Family Names has much meaning except literacy. Memorizing hundreds of surnames is obviously not as vivid, true and individual as drawing a "family tree". Thousands of words is also very boring. At most, read it at the bottom before formally learning ancient Chinese. Some of the ideas in it, such as the historical lie that "I will surrender and be strong if I love my talents", "Everything depends on everything", "Filial piety is the highest, loyalty is the highest" and the level of "being happy and expensive, being respectful and humble", are not good things. Augmented and virtuous writing is even worse, full of bad values: "If you want to live, if you want to get rich, you must die hard", "A horse is weak because it is thin, and people are not romantic because it is poor", stupid codes and norms: "Right and wrong are only for talking more, and trouble is for being strong", "You have recently learned the tortoise method, so you should be timid" and "If everything is all right, you should be timid" I made a rough calculation and expanded more than 340 articles, less than half of which can be said to children without harm. These bad things, different books also confirm each other: the ubiquitous hierarchy, "waiting for a servant, being expensive" in Disciples' Rules and so on. It is necessary to sound the alarm for children from time to time. What I especially can't tolerate children's contact is the expanding Chinese-style trite way of the world, such as "no one asks in the poor city, but there are distant relatives in the rich mountain" and "it's shameful to live for a long time, but it's hard to paint a tiger's skin and bones, and it's hard to know people's faces but not their hearts". "Without money, it is hard to find relatives", which makes people feel chilling. "Killing is excusable, but unreasonable" makes people shudder. These values and codes of conduct may have been partially applied in China's interpersonal communication so far. Although we have been making progress and sublating, but these things are instilled in children without filtering, isn't it a direct "killing" of childlike innocence and innocence, and mass production of wrinkled little old men and women? Children have similar problems when reading old novels. He has read The Legend of Tang Dynasty and Surprise, and all he remembers so far are the stories of Deuce and Murder. Although you can see everything at a glance, I remember one thing strangely: cough first when you pass someone's window, and if someone is speaking ill of you, shut up. This is called "it's clear if you don't listen." God, it's a pity that I didn't say "easy to be afraid, it belongs to the ear wall" I can only hold his face and say, I don't want him to be so mature and sophisticated at an early age. I'd rather he heard someone say bad things about him and rushed over to have a fight with others, and then went home to think about whether those bad things made sense. Even if he is destined to become a secular philistine, try to be late. This involves the problem of "innocence", which I discovered when I was talking about Disciples' Rules. In fact, for the smart and impetuous children in my family, it is also the right medicine to be sincere and trustworthy in class, requiring "clear rooms, clean walls, clean criminal records and correct ink and stone". But if he really wants to "walk calmly and stand straight" and "slowly open the curtains and keep quiet", I'm afraid he will cry as soon as he sings. Is that still a child? In traditional education, it seems that there is no "naive" position at all. The three-character classic is straightforward: diligence makes meritorious deeds, and drama is useless. Primary School Poetry requires "everything should be peaceful" and "description should be calm and correct". China's idea has always been not to be narrow-minded, represented by the "15th Festival". In the old novels, "being good at teasing and jumping" is often the cause of causing trouble and causing lawsuits, and the parties should suffer hardships and be wronged, as if joking is a sin. Lin Yutang translated "humor", but China didn't mean it at all, so he could only transliterate it as "humor". To some extent, we are a nation that cannot tolerate childishness, naivety and children. What children naturally do (painting on the wall, jumping around, laughing and laughing) will be taken for granted by parents, and a big reason for habitual drinking is that parents worry that others will think their children are uneducated and lose face. There are indeed too many adults who can't appreciate and tolerate children's naughty and "noisy". Rules are the breeding ground. Children gradually learned to be lifeless, naughty and manly. As for me, I'd rather he ran wildly while playing, or hit his nose on the wall, or spilled something in the middle, than he always "turned his head out of touch" and "held a virtual device like a surplus" On the one hand, traditional norms and rules will teach children to be calm and educated, on the other hand, they will also dilute some negative effects of ancient books on him. I discussed this problem with my children. He said that all the girls in his class think boys are naive, but he thinks it's better to be naive. The child is so mature (he used the word "precocious") that he feels unreal like an adult. He thinks it's not good. I'm glad that children can get to know each other like this. However, he really did a lot of "uncultured" and "inappropriate" things when dealing with people. For me, the dynamic balance between discipline and innocence can not be ignored, which is a string that I have been vigilant and have not grasped well. Objectively speaking, "Study in Qionglin" and "Disciples' Rules" are all ok as a whole. It is important to "listen to parents' instruction", "tell them when you go out, and face them when you go out". Of course, if you don't remonstrate, you are willing to remonstrate. There are crying and noisy, no regrets, "and parents just can't be set up? In the end, I didn't say how to solve it. I once analyzed with my children that one of the shortcomings of traditional culture is that it always says "what if" and relatively lacks the countermeasures of "what can't be done". A lot of truth is only half said, and it is impossible to delve into it. Confucius taught that "friends are not as good as themselves", which shows that friends are better than themselves. Isn't it "friends are not as good as yourself" that he associates with you? "Caigen Tan" says "Don't treat a gentleman's belly with a villain's heart, a villain has his own enemy", which seems reasonable, but if everyone doesn't care about a villain, won't the villain be indulged by the world? A subset of classics and history are reporting to monarchs and worrying about people. Whether "person" is a compound noun or not, different people have different needs, so we can't sum it up with one word "person". Say "loyal to the monarch and love the people" What about the confrontation between the monarch and the people? Do you want to compete with the people for profits, or do the people want to support a new king? Blind. Don't! On these issues, I will remind my children to think deeply, instead of just listening to the truth. At the same time, we should pay attention to accept the reasonable side of these truths. Learning truth is the same as making friends. There are advantages to learn. See the sage Si Qi and introspect. If you are perfect, then no one is perfect and you can't make any friends. But for better or worse, friends are the core of judgment and the "loyalty" of gangster brothers. Finally, there is a question about "life", which is the most deadly. Somehow, since reading old novels, children's concept of "fate" has been sharply strengthened. It is easy to evaluate "this is life" and it is very calm. When he first read the Three Kingdoms, he sighed and wanted to be a "master". He envied Liu Bei's "kindness" in tears when he was in trouble. Naturally, someone gave his life to protect him and support him. There is only one way to become a master, and that is reincarnation. Speaking of this, he sighed: "My life is not good." It forces me to preach in a dignified way that there are many factors that affect a person's life, and birth is of course one of them. However, it is the most worthless person who takes birth as the decisive factor. The society mainly based on birth may be stable and harmonious, but it must not be a good modern society. By the way, I also plan ahead and say that martial arts novels are very good-looking, but there are also two problems to pay attention to. One is the source of peerless martial arts, which always comes from martial arts cheats or secular masters, and there is almost no new martial arts. Can't everything be passed down from ancient times and innovated independently according to today's needs? The other is that many people become "heroes", mainly relying on special origins (black and white parents) and opportunities (meeting high people, secret books, peerless weapons, etc.). ), their experiences and achievements are unrepeatable. A society based on these things is insecure and established. But it's no use. When children look at history and classics later, "fate" and "birth" are still on their lips, which can easily be used to explain many things. After all, the book says that clothes should be worn according to the rules, and the following is called home. Bright yellow or apricot yellow, dragon five claws or four claws are killing things. We also discussed that it is also good to be respected mainly because of loyalty to the master, but Guan Zhong betrayed Gong Zijiu and helped Qi Huangong dominate? The prince and the prince will be together. What kind of people would you rather have? How to treat Feng Dao and mutiny? Should a person be loyal to the king, or can he choose a wise Lord by his own judgment? Children recognize the latter, but in this way, the value of the whole ancient history will not collapse? "Isn't that all wrong?" The son asked. Confucius made it very clear that "life is death, wealth is heaven", "Zhu Zi's Family Instructions" said "keep your life safe and listen to heaven in prosperity", and "A Dream of Red Mansions" also sang "poverty has been fixed since ancient times". There is a saying that "the monarch is the minister's program, the father is the son's program, and the husband is the wife's program", but the monarch, the father and the husband cannot be chosen by the minister, the son and the wife, and they can't make their lives based on what they can't choose at will. My son used to know the philosophical debate about "free will and determinism" and accepted free will and free choice, but now he has encountered strong challenges from blood and lineage. "Is there a life?" Now this has become a great confusion for him and a great hatred for me. Third, my helpless countermeasures After the enlightenment reading, I was a serious four books and five classics and a philosopher. Apart from the readability of The Analects, I think it is a joke to let children below junior high school read classics and books. There is one obstacle to writing, and the difficulty of thinking is another. Few university professors really understand books, Yi, courtesy and morality, so they dare to teach their children. Even if it is to "promote traditional culture", Yuan Dian can set foot in it in the future. What children need is creative writing books that can embody the essence of tradition and conform to their reading habits and preferences. I once asked my friends in America and Europe, do they read "classics" to their children? Respondents are surprised, classic? Plato, Aristotle and the Theory of Human Nature? Shake your head like a rattle and don't look at it at all. The Republic with annotations and pictures? Don't! "He is a child!" My friend was confused by my question. Then what are you looking at? Greek mythology and biblical stories, because children can understand them. What else is there? The basic principle of reading is that children read children's books. Philosophy? No problem. Six children's philosophy enlightenment books and four children's philosophy wisdom books have been introduced into China. There are many similar books that discuss the most profound issues: life and death, free will, matter and consciousness, form and essence, matter, but they use vivid and childlike language and interesting illustrations. Basic humanistic ideas, cultural diversity and other value orientations are among them. Economics, political science, no problem, these books are all available. Some university professors wrote it specially for children. They have thoroughly understood the essence of the text and then wrote it in a way that children can accept. They don't care about and insist on the "accuracy" in form at all, and they won't stick to their ancestors in any way, so they won't be trapped in any play and give their own personal experiences. This is the advantage of a cultural system with basic knowledge. Regrettably, perhaps it is because I have not dabbled enough, so far I have not found such a true version of Chinese studies for children. Although there are many ancient books, they are rarely written for children, let alone "written according to children's wishes." A few enlightenment books are all written for "miniature adults", and even phonological enlightenment is "sexual" and not taboo. What can my husband say? Sometimes, I even have the idea of "quality is better than quantity". Before laying a good foundation (referring to basic values, principles and outlook on life), children may be temporarily prevented from contacting Chinese studies except poetry, story telling, playing elegant games such as "Flying Flowers Order" and "Welcoming the Spring Order". On the one hand, children are generally involved in the basic books of Chinese studies. On the other hand, there must be many advantages in traditional classics, but those advantages, such as honesty, not lying, friendliness, filial piety, cleanliness, studiousness, love, fortitude and integrity, are actually human knowledge, which is emphasized by almost all cultural civilizations and does not need to be educated through China classics. And those unique things in China's classics make me uneasy. Xia Zi once asked about the explanation of "smiling skillfully, looking forward with beautiful eyes, always thinking gorgeous", and Confucius' answer was "painting afterwards", which is suitable for children's education. Justice, justice, free will, precious life, dignity and equality are all elements. It is good to depict China culture on a simple background. I want to ensure that children can become bright, confident, rational, independent and dignified modern people first, and then add flowers of traditional culture to the cake. "Drawing after the fact" may not be a good idea, but it seems to be the least bad one. So, alas, although I also look forward to the great revival after the creative transformation of traditional culture, now, let children read more "international award-winning novels".
