Four basic steps of meticulous painting

The four basic steps of meticulous painting are: drawing and marking, blooming background color, picture color, in-depth description and adjustment.

1. Drawing and crossing: It is difficult to change the meticulous brushwork after heavy color and ink dropping, so the drawing must be serious, precise and accurate, and the pen must be sure. The depth of ink lines depends on the tone of the object itself.

2. Smudge the background color: Fine brushwork uses ink as the color, so you need to draw something with ink, such as branches, rocks, animals, etc., and lay a good ink base before coloring. This is a special expression of meticulous painting.

3. Paint the surface color: generally dye the flower head first, and then dye the leaves. Flowers are dyed light first, then heavy. Dyeing starts from the protruding part in front of the picture.

4. In-depth description and adjustment: such as flower buds, stamens, calyx, tender leaves, leaf buds, Ye Jin, etc. Make the picture complete. Finally, it is necessary to adjust and organize. Chinese painting pays attention to "bold ink dropping and careful cleaning", and the final effect of a painting has a lot to do with this difference.
