Forty pages face each other, the order is the front cover, the second page, 1, ... 36, the third cover and the back cover. The cover layout is correspondingly ridged. Imposition size: 852 mmx582 mm Common binding method: 1. Riding on a horse-nail the middle of the page so that it opens in the middle, which is mostly used for magazine binding. Its binding cost is low, but the thickness should not be too thick. Take 85gsm paper as an example, the maximum size is 128. When a small amount is available, it can be bound by hand, and the automatic consistent operation equipment also includes cutting counting equipment, which can bind more than 1 10,000 copies per hour. There are also unmanned equipment in the whole process, which is used for reversing, labeling, bundling and transporting to various delivery warehouses. 2. Glue binding-cut 3mm from the back of the page with a sharp knife, and then stick the cover and the inner page together with glue or hot melt adhesive to become a seamless binding method. Its advantage is that the binding thickness can reach seven centimeters, but attention should be paid to the type of glue, temperature and coating thickness. There is a chuck on the automatic gluing machine to clamp the pages, which always has to handle operations such as back planing, gluing, cover wrapping, cutting, counting and wrapping. There are many types of machines, such as fast and slow, to meet the needs. 3. Paperback-use nails or copper nails to pass through the back of the page, then add butterfly pages to the inner pages and cover them, and then cut them into volumes. Its disadvantage is that it is not easy to see the spliced pictures or tables clearly, and the binding thickness cannot exceed one and a half centimeters, which is not suitable for the binding of advanced books. It has been used less at present. 4. Thread binding-a binding method in which cotton thread or silk thread passes through the back of the page, then butterfly pages are attached to the top and bottom of the page, and then the cover and the inner page are bonded together with glue or hot melt adhesive. Its advantage is that it can be read for a long time without the risk of losing pages, and its taste is also very high. In this way, the operations of pasting butterfly pages, sewing thread and covering cover have to go through different machines one by one, and not all of them can be handled, so the binding cost is high. 5. Hardcover-after pasting butterfly pages and threading, the inner pages must be cut to the finished size, and then the cover is wrapped. But the cover is mostly cardboard cover cloth, or glossy color-printed coated paper and imported paper. There are square backs and round backs, which are mostly used in advanced books. The other is soft binding, which is easy to read and is mostly used by dictionaries. 6. Loose-leaf binding-all kinds of printed texts or pictures such as catalogues and technical manuals printed on a single page can be bound with convenient loose-leaf binding. This kind of binding has a plastic back strip and also a ring or buckle made of steel wire. Before binding, arrange the book piles in sequence, then punch holes on the punching machine, then put them on the specially designed machine, and install plastic strips, rings or rings to complete the binding of loose leaves.
