In view of the city's number limit policy, car buyers in China tend to be more and more interested in pure electric vehicles. New energy vehicles are different from traditional internal combustion engines. As the power source of new energy vehicles, power battery is the most important system in the whole vehicle, accounting for 30%~40% of the cost of the whole vehicle, and it is also a symbolic component different from other traditional fuel vehicles. The heart of the traditional fuel vehicle is the engine, and the heart of the new energy vehicle is the power battery. At present, some people have doubts about the future development prospects of new energy vehicles due to the unexpected safety accidents of new energy vehicles and the serious shortening of the cruising range in winter.

Battery cell is the smallest unit of storage battery, which consists of positive electrode, negative electrode and organic electrolyte. Ternary polymer carp battery, referred to as ternary battery for short, uses nickel cobalt manganese acid (Li(NiCoMn)02) or nickel cobalt aluminate as cathode material, and ternary composite cathode material takes nickel salt, cobalt salt and manganese salt as raw materials, in which the ratio of nickel cobalt manganese can be adjusted according to actual needs, so the battery made of ternary material as cathode is safer than that made of nickel cobalt aluminate.
