What are the intangible cultural heritages in Chengdu?
There are about 300 national intangible cultural heritages in Chengdu, including Sichuan Opera, Shu Brocade, Shu Embroidery and Torch Festival.
The United Nations listed it as an intangible cultural heritage:
1. Folk Music: Performance and production techniques of two northern Bashan songs, northern Sichuan grass gongs and drums, and Qiangdi.
Second, folk dances: dragon dance, Batang string dance and Kasdawin dance.
Third, traditional operas: Sichuan Opera, Lantern Opera and Puppet Opera.
Folk arts: Mianzhu woodcut New Year pictures, Shu embroidery and Tibetan Gesar painted stone carvings.
5. Traditional handicraft skills: Shu brocade weaving skills.
