As a new mode of cultivating innovative talents, intelligent robot education still stays at the level of "activity" in the current education and teaching practice. Intelligent robot education is mostly carried out in the mode of extracurricular activities and various interest classes and training courses. It is true that a considerable number of primary and secondary schools can actively organize students to participate in various intelligent robot activities or competitions, but it is rarely introduced into teaching as a course. In order to expose more students to robots and cultivate students' sense of innovation, practical ability and teamwork, our school established a robot club in 2008, and began to popularize robot courses from the fall semester of 201/kloc-0.
1. Curriculum implementation
(1) Since the fall semester of 20 1 1, our school has set up a robot popularization course in the third grade of primary school. Last semester, I mainly studied the production and programming of Zhong Ming's physical robot, and next semester I mainly studied the production of creative robots.
(2) Since the fall semester of 20 12, our school has started to offer universal courses in the third to sixth grades of primary school and the first grade of junior high school on the basis of trying to popularize one-year courses. Arrange courses every two weeks, two classes at a time, and truly make popular science education blossom everywhere and popularize the whole school. Through the popularization of robot teaching, all students in the school can know robots, make robots, understand the mysteries of scientific and technological innovation, and experience the convenience that intelligence brings to our lives. By popularizing science and technology courses in all grades of the school, the school will be truly built into a science and technology campus and a popular science base.
(3) During the school year from 2065438+02 to 20 13, our school organized teachers and excellent robot club members to set up a school-based curriculum research group to discuss the contents of robot science teaching, compile the school-based curriculum of robot science teaching, supplement and improve various teaching contents and teaching designs, and gradually formed a unique teaching method.
2. Teaching methods
According to the characteristics of this course, we unify the teaching methods of club robot popularization course into: task-driven, new knowledge teaching and practical application.
(1) Task-driven. Teachers design teaching tasks reasonably according to the learning content of each class. The class schedule is two classes a week, and two classes are enough for students to complete the production of a work. According to the task requirements, students carry out problem analysis, problem solving, group discussion and other links, so that students can find problems and trigger cognitive conflicts in order to introduce new knowledge.
(2) Professor Xinzhi. After the students carefully analyze the tasks and fill in the student project book (the study project book is the proof of students' learning and the record of task decomposition and problem solving process), the teacher can lead out the teaching content of this lesson according to the problems reflected by the students. Because of the specialty of the robot popularization course, we can divide each new knowledge (the application of general sensors) into several parts: "What is it, what is its function, how to use it, and what subject knowledge is applied". Through the above parts, students can deeply understand each firmware, expand their thinking and promote their creation. From the shallow to the deep, integrate theory with practice, so that students can get closer to life and move the problems in life to study.
(3) Practical application. In a period of teaching, actively organize students to conduct group competitions. Teachers should design themes related to life, so that students can effectively link life with learning, achieve the purpose of cultivating students' experience and observation of life, and stimulate students' spirit of loving and exploring science.
3. Evaluation method
(1) Multi-dimensional evaluation subject: change the status quo of single evaluation subject and guide students to evaluate themselves and each other. Because the work needs the innovation of each group and the connection with real life, we can also invite teachers, students and even parents outside the discipline to evaluate the work.
(2) Diversified evaluation contents: not only evaluating what is learned in class, but also evaluating extracurricular practice; It is necessary not only to evaluate students' understanding of classroom content, but also to examine students' ability to grasp the details of life and integrate theory with practice.
(3) Dynamic evaluation process: evaluation not only pays attention to how many works students have produced, how innovative the works are, but also pays attention to the process of students' development. In the process of learning, the students' learning project book of robot popularization course is established, and the students' problem decomposition, problem solving suggestions, suggestions and students' works are recorded, so that the improvement of students' ability is based on the stock and follows the gradual development process.
(4) Diversified evaluation forms: In addition to classroom evaluation, students should also be organized to display their works and participate in competitions. Let students feel the joy of success through grades.
