Einstein's Equation
Einstein's famous mass-energy equation E = mc^2, where E represents energy, m stands for mass, and c represents the speed of light. An important result of the theory of relativity is the relationship between mass and energy. Mass and energy are not interchangeable and are based on the special theory of relativity, and in 1915 he proposed the general theory of relativity. Einstein's June 1905 paper, "An Enlightening View of the Production and Transformation of Light," explained the nature of light, which led to his 1921 Nobel Prize in Physics.
