In midsummer, the Shanxi Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism has released some cool and pleasant minority scenic spots, so that you who like "uniqueness" can relax your body, let your mind fly and pursue the most primitive and natural beauty in this midsummer.

Sanlangdong scenic spot

Sanlang Cave Scenic Area is located in the northwest of Liugu Village, Beixiaodian Township, Yangqu County, Taiyuan City. It takes about an hour and a half to drive from Taiyuan city, along Binhe East Road and on Kangxi Highway.

There is a "wonder" in Sanlangdong Scenic Area, which is "not worthy of the name". This is not to say that it is fake, but that although it is called "Saburo Cave", the main scenery is actually distributed in Hugou, Miaoergou and Shidaigou. Walking into Tiger Gully from Kangxi Highway, walking along Tiger Gully, the soles of your feet are stepping on a layer of carpet-thick pine needles, and the water is gurgling. You can see all kinds of birds descending and ascending around you, rabbits and squirrels jumping around. Flowing springs, waterfalls, rocks, lawns, pine forests, ancient trees, streams, shrubs and other scenery gradually appear in front of you with your pace. The scenery tells you that this is an undeveloped original scenic spot with drinkable streams, cool breeze and lush trees, which is very suitable for weekend picnic and camping.

Cangtouhe

Cangtouhe Wetland is located in Youyu County, Shuozhou City. It takes an hour and a half to drive from Shuozhou city, along Hubei Expressway to Guantun North Road, and then along Hushan Line.

There are wetlands on the dry yellow land, which is a rare wetland ecological environment in Shanxi and even the whole Loess Plateau. Natural water system, riverbank grassland, shrub forest belt and gentle slope farmland constitute the original foundation of natural ecology, and are also rare pastoral landscapes in the northern part of the Loess Plateau. There are as many as 280 kinds of plants and many kinds of precious wild animals here. You can meet rare birds such as the national first-class protected animal black stork, the national second-class protected animal Yuanyang, goshawk and sparrow hawk. "There is no head on the mountain, and the water flows backwards" is called "You Yu Liang Jue", which means that the gentle slope is endless, and the water system stays here to form a wetland landscape.

The stone village

Shitou Village is located in Heshan Town, Zezhou County, Jincheng City. Driving from Jincheng, it takes one hour and twenty minutes to drive along National Highway 208.

This is a natural village with a history of four or five hundred years. Because the villagers have been building houses with stones for a long time, most of the villages are stone buildings, hence the name Stone Village. It is not surprising that the house is made of stone. The strangest thing is that the road is paved with stones, the field is built with stones, and the floor, stove and kang in the house are all built with stones, which is similar to the traditional building method of building houses with wood based on stones in the south. This is rare in Shanxi, where loess is the main traditional building material.

In a stone house, it is warm in winter and cool in summer, and the stone kang is cool and comfortable. If you have the conditions, you can stay in the village for one night when you travel to Stone Village, and feel the architectural wisdom of the villagers earlier. Stone terraces are also worth spending more time watching.

Lianhuaxiao

Lianhua Village is located in the north of Dongxing Village, Xiyan Town, Yuxian County, Yangquan City. It starts from Yangquan and enters Dongtai Road via Beijing-Kunming Expressway. The whole journey takes about one and a half hours.

Lianhua headland, known locally as "Lotus Eighteen Weirs" and "Xiaohukou" Waterfalls, is a seasonal waterfall. It's summer, with abundant rain. The sleeping Lotus Point has been baptized by heavy rain, forming a unique "Eighteen Weirs" waterfall, which is a good time to watch and play. The special geology under the waterfall determines its uniqueness. Surrounded by mountains on three sides, it is made of giant limestone and has an eight-story ladder structure. From a distance, the waterfalls cascade down the stairs like a trapezoidal dam. Turbid water rolling down, the momentum rumbling, magnificent.

When you take a closer look, the sound of water rumbles and is deafening. The spray blasted on the stone ladder is sprinkled on people like drizzle, which is cool and shocking. Whether it's go on road trip or taking photos to choose scenery, it's a good place to go.

Cangerhui

It is located in the mountainous area of Lvliang in the west of Wenshui County and is the hometown of Empress Wu Zetian. It's about two hours' drive from downtown Lvliang. Drive along National Highway 307 to the Guwu line, and then continue driving along the Guwu line.

Xanthium sibiricum Eco-cultural Tourism Scenic Area is famous for its tree-lined trees, fragrant seasons, diverse animals, a variety of wild vegetables and wild medicinal materials, and it enjoys the reputation of "natural air conditioning" in the north and is known as "Jiuzhaigou" in the north.

Cangerhui is not only an excellent ecological scenic spot, but also has a profound cultural heritage. There is a Buddhist temple here-Dongyan Temple, which was built in Yongping 10 in the Eastern Han Dynasty. It is one of the earliest temples where Buddhism was introduced into China, which is 1 year earlier than the Baima Temple in Luoyang. It is called "folk temple" and has high cultural tourism value.

When you come here, you can breathe fresh air in the depths of the vast forest, know wild vegetables and medicinal materials that you can't usually see, and meet lovely animals. Entering Dongyan Temple, you can experience the earliest Buddhist architectural features that have not been fully integrated with China culture, listen to the old monk chanting and feel the peace of mind and body.

Qiliyu

Qiliyu is located in the northern hinterland of Huoshan Mountain, Shizhong Town, Linfen City. Depart from Linfen city, drive along Beijing-Kunming Expressway, and then transfer to Huo Line to continue driving. The whole journey takes about one hour and twenty minutes.

There are a lot of wonders in the scenic area, which is an important part of Taiyue Mountain and even the essence of Taiyue Mountain. Wulong River, dishuiya Waterfall, Shuangrufeng, Nantianmen, Shirengou, Cliff Song Qi, North China Natural Larch Reserve, Baxian Cave and other scenic spots have their own characteristics, with natural grass slopes and natural pastures; Primitive forest covers the sky and the sun, which is the best place for "forest bath".
