1, Miao ancient gourd ladle dance

The Miao "Geiha Dance" in Danzhai County, commonly known as "Gupiao Dance", now only exists in Songlong Village, Yahui Township, southeast of Danzhai County, and originated from Hulu brothers and sisters who survived the catastrophic flood. "Geiha Dance" has been passed down for 72 generations.

2. Miao Li Jia

Li Jia of Miao nationality is a collection of creation myths, legends of ethnic origin, genealogy, knowledge and skills, primitive religious beliefs, folk rituals, ethics, litigation arguments and typical cases, which embodies the primitive culture of Miao nationality and reflects the spiritual feelings and wisdom consciousness of Miao nationality.

3. Lusheng Music (Miao Mangtong Lusheng)

Lusheng is the earliest musical instrument of Miao nationality with a long history, and its origin can be traced back to the ancient musical instruments "Sheng" and "Ba". In the process of long-term war and migration, the awning reed has always been an indispensable daily appliance for the Miao people.

4. Year of Miao

Miao Year is the Miao New Year, which is generally held at the end of autumn harvest and the end of one year's farm work. The first year of Miao is to mourn the Miao ancestor Chiyou who died in the tribal war more than 5,000 years ago, the second year is to celebrate the harvest of one year's labor, and the third year is to sacrifice maple, bamboo, rock mother, well and so on which ancestors and Miao people regard as protectors.

5. Miao costumes

Miao costumes, called "Ou Qian" in Miao language, are mainly composed of children's clothes, casual clothes and costumes. "Dressing up" is called "Ouqian Gagai Xi" in Miao language, which means "bottoming clothes". The Miao language title of "Ou" is "Yinzhuang", wearing a pleated skirt with a waist at the front and back.

6. Miao Lusheng Dance (Golden Rooster Dance)

Golden pheasant dance is a unique traditional folk dance in Miao Lusheng dance, which originated in southeastern Guizhou and mainly spread among golden pheasant Miao people in golden pheasant costumes of Miao Nuo family.

7, Miao batik skills

Batik is a traditional skill handed down from generation to generation by Miao people in Danzhai, Ping Huang, Kaili, Rongjiang, Anshun and Zhijin. In the harsh environment of long-term isolation from the outside world, the residents here gradually formed a self-sufficient lifestyle, planting indigo and cotton, weaving, painting wax, dipping wax and cutting, and the ancient batik skills were passed down from generation to generation.

8. Leather papermaking skills

The craft of making leather paper is an ancient traditional handicraft in China. Papermaking is one of the four great inventions in ancient China. Bamboo paper and kraft paper made of bamboo and paper skin are two important varieties of traditional handmade paper.

9. Miao Sacrifice Festival

"Festival of Sacrifice to Tour" is an ancient traditional festival of Miao nationality, which is called "agricultural tour" in Miao language. "Agriculture" means sacrifice or eating, and "tour" is a person's name, not a family name. Every year, on the ugly day of the second day of the lunar calendar 10, a series of sacrificial activities are held in this area to pay homage to the ancestor Chiyou, who was praised by Miao ancient songs.

10, Miao Drum Festival

In some minority villages in Danzhai, Leishan, Majiang, Kaili and other counties and cities in Qiandongnan Prefecture, this festival-drum is popular every March, that is, in the early February of the lunar calendar.
