Liberal arts and science subjects
Liberal arts:
There are two kinds of liberal arts. Liberal arts in a broad sense refers to the study of human social politics, economy and culture, also known as humanities and social sciences. In a narrow sense, liberal arts refers to the subjects selected by the liberal arts branch of senior high school.
Science:
Science generally refers to natural science, applied science and mathematical logic as opposed to liberal arts. Science subjects mainly include: mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology and so on. The birth and development of science is the result of the development of human wisdom, which indicates that human beings really know how to think about nature, so the development of science is also the key to the development of human science and natural thinking.
When studying science, we should pay attention to the content of the teacher's lecture, so as to concentrate on listening, be active in thinking and be diligent. That is to say, we should concentrate on understanding the basic concepts spoken by the teacher and deeply understand the meaning of each concept. Hurry up and sort out your own ideas and compare the teacher's answers to see what's different. If it is not the same, it is necessary to quickly judge right and wrong.
Breakdown of liberal arts subjects:
Politics:
Politics is a social science discipline that mainly studies political behavior, political system and political related fields. In the west, political science research in academic field is also called political research, or just the word politics. Politics refers to the field of academic research, while political research represents a broader research field. Politics in a narrow sense refers to ideological and political theory courses.
History:
History refers to the systematic recording, explanation and study of the past events and actions of the human society. History can provide modern people with an understanding of the past as a reference for future actions. Together with ethics, philosophy and art, it is an important achievement of human spiritual civilization. The second meaning of history, that is, the recording and research of past events, is also called "history".
Geography:
Geography is knowledge about the earth, its characteristics, inhabitants and phenomena. It is a discipline system that studies the interaction of the earth's surface and its spatial differences and changes. It mainly includes physical geography and human geography (some geographers divide it into physical geography, social geography and human geography).
