The Historical Evolution of Huilong Township
Since 29 years of the Republic of China, it belongs to Shuiji County. After the establishment of People's Republic of China (PRC), it became the third district of Shuiji County. 1956 After Shuiji abolished the county system, Huilong merged into Jianyang and established Huilong District. Huilong People's Commune was established at the end of 1958, merged into Zhang Dun Commune at 1960, and established Huilong Commune at196/0. Zhang Dun commune was merged into Huilong commune on 1964, and Huilong commune was changed to Zhang Dun commune on 1965. 1975, Bai Yang and other three Chongluo Commune Brigade merged into Huilong to form Malan Commune, 1982 was renamed Huilong Commune. 1984 cancel the commune and establish Huilong township.
