How does the navigation work in the Audi A6 (in detail)?

Pulling up navigation

For: cars with navigation system

The navigation system guides you directly to your destination and can lead you by alternative routes in the event of traffic disruptions and at your request.

The upper display: Standard maps: route guidance is not activated

To call up navigation

_Applicable to: MMI: Tap: Navigation on the home screen.

Displays the map after first bringing up navigation.

Pulling up navigation via the multifunction steering wheel

_Applicable to: multifunction steering wheel: select the navigation tab on the combination meter.

_To have the system display navigation after initiating destination guidance, select (below) > Maps in the combination instrument.

The following functions are available in the MMI:

1 Open the menu to select the destination.

2 Open the intelligent search directly.

3 Switch between map and menu: tap repeatedly (below) until the desired function is displayed.

Special attention should be paid to:

- Road traffic requires road users to concentrate their full attention.

-The routes calculated by the navigation system are driving recommendations. Please be aware of country-specific traffic regulations. If the driving advice contradicts the traffic regulations of the country in which you are traveling, the country-specific traffic regulations take precedence, otherwise there is a risk of an accident!

Things to note:

Note the tips about Audi connect, and in particular pay attention to the connection fees.

To note:

- Things such as snow or ice on the GPS antenna or obstructions from trees or tall buildings may prevent the antenna from receiving fruit and therefore affect the car's positioning results. If multiple satellites are turned off or out of order, then this may also cause GPS reception to be impaired and consequently affect the vehicle's positioning.

-Because street names change from time to time, the names stored in the MMI may deviate from the actual street names in special cases.

-Applicable to: Multi-function steering wheel: Depending on the function selected, it needs to be operated via the display above.

-Applicable to: Vehicles with Audi connect infotainment: Depending on the country and the equipment of the vehicle, you may have other services available.
