How to organically combine scientific research with education and teaching

The new curriculum reform puts forward many new requirements for teachers' teaching behavior, requiring teachers to step out of the traditional role as soon as possible and become researchers, truth and creators of the new curriculum. The core link of curriculum reform is curriculum implementation, and the key to curriculum implementation is teaching reform. In recent years, combining with the reality of rural primary schools, our school has firmly grasped the key link of classroom teaching and carried out educational research in a down-to-earth manner by means of layered promotion and rolling development. Teachers' enthusiasm for scientific research is unprecedented, teachers' educational and teaching behavior has undergone a fundamental change, a number of teaching backbones have grown rapidly, teachers have become professional, and students' learning emotions and attitudes have also undergone positive changes. The following is my experience in carrying out educational research in our school.
First, change ideas and form a good atmosphere for education and scientific research.
First of all, school leaders should fully understand the importance and necessity of education and scientific research, put education and scientific research in a strategic position to ensure the sustainable development of the school, and have a sense of responsibility and urgency to carry out education and scientific research, and pass this sense of responsibility and urgency on to the teachers to guide them from "teaching and educating people" to "research-oriented". Leaders should jump out of the complicated routine work, take the lead in doing a good job in education and scientific research, and lead all teachers to the "sunshine avenue" of scientific research schools while cultivating the backbone of scientific research, so as to form a good scientific research atmosphere.
Two, improve the scientific research institutions and systems, and establish effective safeguard measures.
The limited manpower and material resources of the school should be used in the cutting edge, and education and scientific research are the cutting edge of the school's development. It can be guaranteed from the following aspects: first, the guidance office takes the lead and selects key teachers with research enthusiasm to form the school teaching department, which is responsible for the organization, management and coordination of education and scientific research; The second is to improve the rules and regulations of educational research, such as the reward and punishment system of educational research and the theoretical learning system; Third, from the perspective of administrative management, strengthen the management assessment of educational and scientific research work, incorporate it into the assessment of teachers' educational work, and give rewards and punishments; Fourth, give priority to research funds to ensure the expenditure of research work.
Three, combined with the actual situation, take the biggest problem in our teaching as the starting point of scientific research topic selection.
As a rural primary school with weak research foundation, educational research should be based on subject research and focus on classroom teaching. Therefore, on the basis of careful investigation and study on the present situation of teachers and teaching in our school, we insist on combining educational research with teachers' daily teaching work, determine the subject of "cultivating students' autonomous learning ability", actively make plans and step into the right track of development.
Fourth, strengthen study and cultivate research-oriented teachers in our school.
Because the research level and consciousness of rural school teachers are generally not high, it is urgent to strengthen the study and training of educational research theory. On the basis of careful preparation, the teaching department has carried out two aspects of learning and training: one is the knowledge training at the operational level of educational scientific research, such as the significance of educational scientific research, how to choose topics, how to carry out research, research methods, and the writing of educational scientific research knowledge, so as to break the mystery of educational scientific research and help teachers overcome their fear of difficulties; On the other hand, it is to learn the theoretical knowledge related to the research topic of our school and make a good theoretical reserve. It should be noted that study and training should always carry out scientific research activities to protect scientific research.
Five, research practice and classroom teaching, regular teaching and research are closely combined, and a series of activities are carried out with topic research as the core.
At the core stage of research, that is, the research practice stage, we must adhere to the classroom as the main position, take conventional teaching and research as the carrier, integrate the research of educational research topics into teachers' teaching work, and promote the in-depth development of scientific research through daily teaching, teaching and research and a series of purposeful activities, so as to make the research of topics develop healthily.
1. Conduct status analysis regularly. The purpose of educational research is to carry out research and solve problems. Because the research is carried out in a dynamic process, new situations and new problems may appear at any time, so it is very important to investigate and analyze the current situation in time. In order to comprehensively and accurately grasp the problems existing in the current classroom teaching in our school and make the research work suit the remedy to the case, we can understand the present situation through random lectures and interviews of school leaders and main researchers. At the same time, research cases (individual teachers, classes, students) are established and tracked. Then summarize, on the basis of full analysis, summarize in time, and provide basis for further research and improvement of classroom teaching.
2. Carry out demonstration and evaluation activities of teaching plans of excellent research-oriented courses in combination with research topics. Preparing lessons is the premise of a good class, especially for research. So we pay special attention to the preparation before class. In addition to preparing lessons in advance, writing lesson plans and signing out after class every day, it is also stipulated that lesson plans should highlight the embodiment of the research theme of "cultivating students' autonomous learning ability", that is, whether the content, time and method of student activities are designed scientifically and creatively, and every semester, all researchers will participate in lesson plan display and lesson evaluation activities to evaluate excellent lesson plans for everyone to learn and learn from.
3. Organize demonstration classes and observe class activities. Demonstration class and observation class can effectively improve teachers' teaching and research level. Therefore, our school stipulates that several demonstration classes or observation classes should be provided for everyone to learn. (1) Assign teachers to go out to participate in classroom teaching observation activities at the county, city and province levels, and ask them to seriously study and think in combination with our research topics, and return to school to communicate (first, take demonstration classes, and second, report their experiences). (2) Organize and guide the backbone teachers of our school to the project research demonstration class on campus. Grasp two points: first, the demonstration class is checked by the guidance office, and the main researcher is responsible for the quality to ensure the demonstration; The second is to demonstrate the discussion and study after class, conduct real discussion in combination with the research topic, find out the characteristics, find out the gap and implement the improvement measures.
4. Regularly carry out open class activities of full-time project research. This is a necessary means to effectively promote mass research. In the past, every teacher can be given new vitality on the basis of regular open classes at the school level, that is, open classes should be combined with subject research, so that open classes can focus on reflecting my experience in subject research. This requirement can be implemented in lectures, classes, after-school teaching and research group evaluation and other links.
5. Introduce incentive mechanism to carry out project research competitions. In recent years, we have combined class competition with project research, and implemented the activities of "one lesson, three discussions" or "three lessons and one evaluation". After class, teachers seriously discuss the project and their own reality, and sometimes even blush. It can be said that the atmosphere of education and scientific research is getting stronger and stronger. Through the competition, the level of educational scientific research has been improved, and the exploration enthusiasm of classroom teaching has been promoted. Some young teachers stand out in the competition activities, and the training cycle of young teachers is shortened.
6. Hold research and experimental classes. In order to do a good job in the research of cultivating students' autonomous learning ability, we have identified four (1) experimental classes, and transferred backbone teachers with strong scientific research ability to teach the main subjects. Relevant researchers should make experimental records in time, analyze and compare, and sum up experiences and lessons. The holding of experimental classes will effectively promote the development of subject research.
7. Sum up experience in time. On the one hand, it is the summary of the guidance office. After each large-scale research and practice activity, the guidance office should, according to the purpose of the activity, make a special summary of the gains and existing problems in the activity with the main researchers in advance and put forward improvement measures; On the other hand, it is a summary of teachers' experience in research work. Teachers may have "bright spots" at any time in their daily teaching and research practice activities. We encourage you to use theoretical knowledge, explore boldly, refine and summarize in time, and write more than one empirical paper around the research topic every period. The school organizes an experience exchange once a year, selects papers and compiles excellent papers into a book.
In short, the new round of curriculum reform has put everyone back on the starting line. As a rural primary school with a weak foundation, only by seizing the opportunity of curriculum reform, strengthening education and scientific research, implementing management and enhancing the school's development potential can it be invincible in the face of new opportunities and challenges.
