Brief introduction of Hubei Huagu Opera
The ancient painting drama of East Road, an intangible cultural heritage in Macheng, Huanggang, Hubei Province, has been widely spread in history and has far-reaching influence. According to relevant records, traditional Chinese opera was formed at the end of Jiaqing, with a history of 170 years. Donglu ancient painting drama originated in eastern Hubei, formed in Macheng, Luotian, Hong 'an, Xishui and Huanggang in eastern Hubei, and located in the southern foot of Dabie Mountain.
In the early days, there were only elementary schools, Xiao Dan and clowns, commonly known as "three little ones". Most of their plays were small scenes reflecting civil life or love disputes. Later, industries such as raw horn, straight Dan and clean horn appeared, and the variety of operas also expanded.
