Behind the scenes production:
When the traditional Maoshan zombie films in Hong Kong were repeatedly imitated by many follow-up works without innovation, and even gradually lost the audience, in order to avoid the exhaustion of Hong Kong zombie films and their own lives, Ching-Ying Lam tried to shoot such films without losing the local folk interest, and incorporated western vampires and zombies into Hong Kong zombie films.
The whole drama "One Eyebrow Road flyover" was filmed for a year, and the on-site staff had to work for more than 8 hours every day. When shooting, it is necessary to build a high platform and plant banana trees. Once the work starts, it is impossible to stop. And there are more than 30 high platforms, all of which are heavy wood.
Ching-Ying Lam's film "One Eyebrow Road flyover", regardless of the cost, failed to make a profit, but it opened a precedent for Hong Kong filmmakers to re-examine local zombie movies and became the best example of "the combination of local culture and foreign culture".
