What are "VOCs"?

VOC substances are volatile organic substances. As the components in electronic devices use resins and adhesives, they also contain VOCs. when using electronic devices with high temperatures, some semi-volatile organic compounds (SVOCs), which are volatile at room temperature, will evaporate at higher temperatures, and some VOCs with a vaporization point of 40°C or more will have a rapidly increasing amount of radioactivity.

Methods to reduce voc

1, activated adsorption method

In the organic waste gas treatment process, adsorption is one of the methods with good treatment effect and wide use, the adsorbent has activated carbon, diatomaceous earth, zeolite and so on, of which activated carbon adsorption is the most used. Through the adsorption system, not only can make the VOC concentration greatly reduced, to achieve exhaust emissions, and after adsorption through the gas desorption, the collection can be reused in production.

2, air-entrained air emission method

This is a general enterprise in the paint, sanding and other positions in the use of the most, one of the most simple method, its low cost, easy to operate, the effect is obvious. But the overhead emission is only the transfer of pollution, and does not really solve the pollution problem, and the induced draft fan power size and the installation height of the air outlet directly affect the effect of the induced draft.

3, combustion treatment method

VOC for organic volatile substances, easy to burn, can be used at room temperature or catalytic oxidation combustion treatment, the gas from the induced draft tube into the boiler or incinerator combustion, but the high-temperature organic gases have to go through a safety demonstration. This method of treatment is more complete, basically can be converted into VOC CO2, H2O.

4, absorption and degassing method

Because the VOC are generally dissolved in diesel or 200 # gasoline and other organic solvents, can be absorbed in diesel or 200 # gasoline VOC, absorbed solvent can be used for fuel or diluent. This method is easy to operate, low cost, but the absorption of the treatment is generally still volatile gas residue, because the organic solvents themselves volatile, so can not make the VOC to zero, if the high temperature, the absorption rate is even lower.

5, condensation collection method

The reactor high temperature organic gases can be collected by condensation, the first straight condensation and then spiral condensation, the method of degassing effect is obvious, easy to operate, low operating costs, but the effect on the low-boiling point gases is not good.
