Briefly describe several important periods of the development of China's classical aesthetic thought and its development.

China's classical aesthetics refers to China's aesthetic thoughts from the pre-Qin period to1the first half of the 9th century.

Its development process has roughly experienced several periods:

A. The pre-Qin and Han dynasties were infancy, and aesthetic thought was basically a vassal of philosophy and ethics;

B. The period from Wei, Jin, Southern and Northern Dynasties to the Middle Tang Dynasty was conscious, and aesthetics focused on exploring the aesthetic attributes of reality and the general laws of artistic expression;

C. The middle Tang Dynasty to the middle Ming Dynasty is a mature period, and aesthetics focuses on exploring the inner world of aesthetic subjects and its materialization, thus completing the theoretical framework of classical aesthetics;

D. The late Ming Dynasty to the late Qing Dynasty is the continuation period after the maturity of classical aesthetics, and aesthetic theories are mostly the echo of predecessors' aesthetic thoughts.
