What are the three changes in the Book of Changes?

Lianshan Yi, Guizang Yi and Zhouyi are called "Three Changes" together. The existing ancient wisdom and the laws of emperors of past dynasties are only the Book of Changes. As for the "Three Changes", it is generally believed that Lianshan Yi, Guizang Yi and Zhouyi were formed in the Xia, Shang and Zhou Dynasties respectively, among which Lianshan Yi was the earliest and Zhouyi was the latest.

Huan Tan, a scholar in the Eastern Han Dynasty, said in New Classics: "Lianshan has 8, words, and Guizang has 4,3 words (simplified version of Qin Dynasty). Lianshan is hidden in Lantai, and Guizang is hidden in Taibu. " After Wei and Jin Dynasties, Lianshan and Guizang were lost or absorbed by Buddhism and Taoism, which became the eternal mystery in the field of Chinese culture.

Introduction to Zhouyi:

Zhouyi includes two parts: Classic and Biography. Classic is divided into Shangjing and Xiajing. There are thirty hexagrams in Shangjing, thirty-four hexagrams in Xiajing, and one hexagram in * * *. Sixty-four hexagrams evolved from the eight diagrams of Gan, Kan, Gen, Zhen, Xun, Li, Kun and Dui. Each hexagram consists of hanging pictures, titles, hexagrams, and speeches.

It is said that Fuxi created eight diagrams and sixty-four hexagrams eight thousand years ago. Around the year 1 BC, Zhou Wenwang reinterpreted the preface of the sixty-four hexagrams, collected the hexagrams and speeches handed down orally in previous dynasties, and recorded them in words. This is the Book of Changes. More than 4 years later, Confucius explained and praised the text of scripture, forming the Yi Zhuan part of Zhouyi.

Zhouyi is an outstanding representative of China's traditional culture. The vast and subtle, all-encompassing, is also the source of Chinese civilization.
