Introduction of Luxi Opera in West Anhui

Luxi Lu Opera, commonly known as Knife Qi Opera and Knife Cutting Opera, originated in Dabie Mountain area in western Anhui. It is one of the major Han operas in Anhui Province. Based on the folk song and dance art of Han nationality in western Anhui, it has absorbed the artistic advantages of ancient paintings in eastern Hubei, Duangong opera, Haizi opera, Huangmei opera, Huizhou opera and tea-picking opera, and gradually developed and expanded.
