The statue of the 61st minister is impressive. Although Ganryeong has not yet been discovered, there is a lot to see. On the east and west sides of the Divine Path outside the Vermilion Bird Gate, there are two groups of stone statues, neatly and respectfully arranged in front of the Yu Tomb. 32 statues on the west side, 29 statues on the east side, and ***61 statues. These stone statues are about the same size as real people, but they are all headless stone statues (all knocked off). People used to call these stone statues fan statues, also known as the 61 Chen Fan statues. These life-size stone statues were dressed differently, but they all stood side by side, with their hands bowed in front of them in an extremely humble posture. As for why there is no human head among the sixty-one stone statues, there is no accurate statement to date.

The famous wordless monument is another attraction in Ganling. On the east side of Sima Road outside the Zhuque Gate stands the world-famous monument to Wu Zetian without words. Among the stone carvings in the whole Ganling Cemetery, the wordless monument is not only eye-catching in its location, but also exquisite in its carving art, and after this wordless monument, it is full of all kinds of legendary stories. Why there is no word on the wordless stele? There are three folk sayings. The first is that Wu Zetian s wordless stele was used to praise herself, indicating that her merits and virtues were infinite; the second is that Wu Zetian set up the wordless stele because she knew she was guilty, and thought it would be better not to write the inscription. The third theory is that Wu Zetian is a self-aware person, and it is wise to set up a monument without words, so that future generations can comment on the merits and demerits of the right and wrong, is a wise move.

Additionally, one can stroll along the wide and straight sacred path of the Vermilion Bird Gate. The sacred path is flanked by huge stone statues of stone men, stone horses and stone ostriches, looking out at the towering mountain peaks in the distance. Inside the peaks are the tombs of Tang Emperor Gaozong and Wu Zetian. At this moment, thousands of years have passed since that glorious era, and a strong sense of the vicissitudes of history arises.
