The basic procedures for loading and unloading goods of ordinary cargo ships are to determine the cargo loading and unloading plan, arrange the cargo loading and unloading sequence and conduct sampling inspection of goods.

1. Confirm the tally plan: After the ship arrives at the dock, the dock staff will contact the ship's representative to confirm the cargo type, quantity, weight and other information of the ship and confirm the tally plan.

2. Arrangement of tally sequence: The dock staff will arrange tally sequence and quayside crane and other equipment according to the manifest and ship characteristics to prepare for tally.

3. Sampling inspection of the goods: the dock staff will conduct sampling inspection of the goods, and carry out quality inspection and weight measurement of the goods to ensure that the goods conform to the information provided by the ship's representative.
