Entrance and exit of outpatient and emergency departments: During the special period of epidemic situation, all major hospitals moved the pre-inspection triage desk to the hospital entrance, asked all people who entered the hospital in detail about epidemiological history, measured their body temperature, and guided them to the corresponding destination according to the purpose of patients coming to the hospital. Once patients with fever and patients with fever and non-fever with epidemiological history are found in advance, they will be referred to the fever clinic.

2.2-level pre-inspection and diversion

Entrance of consultation area/ward: For some special people, such as hemodialysis, pediatrics, emergency department, obstetrics and gynecology, a pre-examination triage table is set at the entrance of consultation area/ward to conduct secondary pre-examination triage for patients, mainly to screen suspicious patients again according to the characteristics of specialties.

3. Three-level pre-inspection and triage

Consultation room doctor: This is also the last line of defense to divert suspicious patients. During the consultation, the doctors in the consultation room should carefully ask the patients' epidemiological history and occupational history again, and carry out the pre-inspection of infectious diseases in combination with the patients' chief complaints, medical history, symptoms and signs. Different triage personnel have different emphases. The purpose is to divert "suspicious" patients to specific places for separate diagnosis and treatment as soon as possible.

High-risk groups screened out through three-level pre-examination and triage are accompanied by specialized medical staff to the fever clinic. If you have fever symptoms (≥37.3℃) within 72 hours, the health code is red or yellow, and you have lived abroad for 28 days, it is not excluded that 10 cases such as COVID-19 infection or suspected COVID-19 patients are diverted by the attending doctor.
