Chinese Poetry Research Society's Chinese Poetry Research Society Constitution

Article 1 The Society is named the Chinese Poetry Research Society.

Article 2 The Society is a mass academic organization which focuses on the theoretical study of poems and the practice of poetic creation, with the majority of poetic enthusiasts as its main body.

Article 3 The aims of the Association are: to implement the theoretical system of socialism with Chinese characteristics, to adhere to the direction that literature and art serve the people and socialism, to carry out the literary and artistic policy of letting a hundred flowers blossom and a hundred schools of thought contend for supremacy, to inherit and carry forward the fine traditions of Chinese poems, to flourish the creation of poetry, to carry out the study of poetry, and to make the creation of poems integrate into the society, integrate into the times and to open up new horizons in the creation of poems. Article 4 Business Scope of the Association

(1) To unite and organize all poetic lovers, to conduct poetic theory research and creative activities, to discover and cultivate poetic talents, and to promote the popularization and improvement of poems.

(2) Chinese Poetry Monthly is the journal of the Society. Through publishing excellent poetic works and theoretical articles, it aims to improve the theoretical level and creative ability of the majority of poetic enthusiasts.

(3) Strengthen the contact with local poetic organizations, give full play to the advantages of the Society's wide range of contacts, and promote the prosperity and development of the cause of poetry.

(4) The Society actively carries out academic exchanges, organizes lectures by famous teachers and poetry essay contests.

(3) The Society has achieved good results in poetic creation and has had works published in newspapers and magazines. Article 5 Members applying for membership in the Association must have the following conditions:

(1) have the will to join the Association;

(2) uphold the Association's constitution;

(3) achieve better results in poetic creation and have works published in newspapers and magazines.

Article VI Procedures for Membership

(1) Submit an application for membership;

(2) Submit a poem of my representative work;

(3) Two one-inch photos;

(4) Fill in the biography, address book, zip code, phone number, etc.

(5) Have a member of the Association to introduce;

(6) After the executive committee of the Association, the members of the Association will be invited to attend the meeting.

(vi) discussed and approved by the Executive Council and issued a certificate.

Article VII Members enjoy the following rights:

(1) the right to elect, to be elected and to vote in the Research Association;

(2) to participate in activities organized by the Research Association;

(3) to obtain the priority of the services of the Research Association;

(4) to the work of the Association's criticism and suggestions and the right to supervise.

Article 8 Members shall fulfill the following obligations:

(1) to fulfill the constitution of the Association and implement the decisions of the Association;

(2) to protect the legitimate rights and interests of the Association;

(3) to complete the work entrusted to them by the Association;

(4) to pay the membership fee according to the regulations.

Article IX. Members have the freedom to apply for resignation. If a member does not send works to the journal or make contact within one year, or does not pay the membership fee, he/she is regarded as automatically resigning from the Society.

Article X. If a member violates the national law or seriously violates the constitution of the Society, he or she may be notified of the warning, suspension of membership, or up to the disqualification of membership after discussion at the president's office meeting. Article 11 The supreme body of the Association is the general meeting of members. Members of the General Assembly is held once every five years.

Article XII of the Institute's institutional setup: the General Assembly, the Board of Directors, the Executive Council, the President, Vice President, Secretary General, Honorary President, Adviser, Honorary Director.

Article 13 Council

(1) The Council is the executive body of the General Assembly of Members and leads the research to carry out its work. The Council is convened once a year or once every two years;

(2) The Council elects and removes the president, vice-president, secretary general and executive director;

(3) Listen to the report of the executive director.

Article 14 Standing Council

(1) The Standing Council is responsible to the Council. It shall meet once a year, or in the form of newsletters, etc.

(2) To implement the decisions of the general meeting of the members and the council;

(3) To employ honorary presidents, advisors and honorary councilors;

(4) To report to the council and the general meeting of the members;

(5) To decide on major matters.

Article XV The Institute shall have a president, ten to twenty vice-presidents, a secretary general and three to six deputy secretaries general. Term of office of five years, re-election is generally not more than two terms.

Article XVI of the Society shall have an honorary president, adviser, honorary director of a number of executive director hired. Article 17 Sources of Funding

(1) Membership dues;

(2) Corporate groups and individual sponsorship;

(3) Publication and advertising revenue. Article 20 The power of interpretation of these Articles of Association shall be vested in the Executive Council of the Association.
