Postoperative nursing care of abdominal external hernia

(1) The patient was lying on his back with a pillow under his knee, which made his thigh slightly bent.

(2) Generally, sandbags (500 g) are pressed at the incision for 24 hours to prevent bleeding.

(3) After inguinal hernia operation, scrotum should be bagged.

(4) Postoperative constipation and cough should be prevented. Apply it to the wound when coughing.

(5) Exercise in bed 3-5 days after operation. If there is an intestinal resection, the time to go to the ground should be postponed.

(6) Give semi-liquid food after operation, that is, soft and digestible food. Such as porridge, noodles, etc. After 2-3 days, it will be replaced by ordinary food. Eating time should be delayed after enterotomy.
