The step of introducing SPF rats into IVC system through barrier environment

The building area of SPF animal laboratory is 300m2. The indoor ceiling is 2.4m in height. The wall and ceiling are made of purified light-colored steel plates, and the inner arc and column are purified. The floor is made of MS epoxy resin gravity leveling cleaning paint with a thickness of 2.5mm The door is sealed with special purification doors and observation windows. The one-way walkway is designed clockwise.

There are 2 rat feeding rooms, 1 mouse feeding room, 2 isolated observation rooms, 3 experimental preparation rooms, 3 functional laboratories and 1 cleaning and disinfection rooms in the pathogen-free area. In addition, there are specific pathogens outside the monitoring room, computer room and power distribution room free of charge.
