Shanxi used to belong to Hebei now, and its architectural style was deeply influenced by Shanxi merchants. The shape of high walls and small doors was very unique.

With the rapid development of cities, many ancient villages are slowly disappearing and being forgotten by people. In the fast-paced life, under the great pressure of life, in fact, we need to vent ourselves irregularly, return to the slow-paced life, and return to those relaxed and primitive, which is exactly what we can get in ancient villages.

In the new year, our journey slowly begins from an ancient village to another village. Our first stop came to Daliangjiang Village, Jingxing, Shijiazhuang.

Daliangjiang Village is the end of the western end of Taihang Tian Road in Jingxing County, which is less than 10 km away from Guguan in Shanxi Province. Surrounded by mountains and canyons, there is a sense of secrecy at first glance. There are mountains and waters, which are very suitable for relaxation and seclusion.

Daliangjiang Village is the Qiao Family Courtyard in Hebei, because everyone in the village is surnamed Liang. Although the village is on the hillside, it can still be arranged in good order. Seen from the air, the pavement paved with bluestone and the houses built with stones all reflect the wisdom of the ancients in using local materials.

Entering from the main entrance of the village, the first thing you see is a thousand-year-old locust tree. According to experts' research, it was planted in the late Tang Dynasty and has a history of 1300 years. Unfortunately, it was destroyed by Japanese invaders in War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression, which led to the ancient pagoda leaning to the southeast. In order to protect the ancient Huai, the villagers specially built a small stone archway under the tree as a support. This tree not only witnessed the vicissitudes of history, but also witnessed the atrocities of the invaders, which is of great significance.

Entering the village is like entering a sea of stones. Streets, houses, temples and even all decorations are made of stone. The beauty and art of stone are vividly displayed here.

In every ancient village, you can see the theater, and the scene of villagers sitting in front of the theater and watching the play seems to appear again. The ancient theater in Daliangjiang Village was built during the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty. The four stone pillars supporting the theater are all carved with complete stone strips, each of which is more than ten feet high and weighs ten thousand kilograms. It is hard to imagine how the ancients built these stone pillars and transported them to the village. It's really amazing.

The village is very small, and the street layout is very clear from the air. The streets in the village mainly include Shang Jie, Xia Jie, Zhongjie and five alleys, with a total length of 3,700 meters. 2 to 4 meters wide. Streets are strewn at random and criss-crossed. There are 65,438+062 well-preserved quadrangles and more than 3,000 houses made of stone in the village. It is not difficult to feel that it used to be a village of 1000 people, with a huge scale.

In Daliangjiang, the doors of many houses are relatively high, but the doors are relatively narrow. There is a screen wall in front of the door, and the buildings in the house can't be seen from the outside. Because the old people think that the door is big and straight into the air to spread wealth, and the door is small to take shelter from the wind and suck in money, so most people have smaller doors. Daliangjiang Village is located at the junction of the two provinces and was once under the jurisdiction of Shanxi. Therefore, the architectural features are very Shanxi style, which is greatly influenced by Shanxi merchants. Many old people in the village have also been to Beijing to do business with Shanxi merchants. After returning, many people have built their yards into quadrangles.

Because there is a great relationship with Shanxi merchants here, businessmen gather, and the layout of many quadrangles is full of Beijing flavor. It must have been fashionable for businessmen from all over the world to learn from the characteristics of Beijing quadrangles at that time.

In Daliangshan, the most representative building is the "one house and nine courtyards" of the village army, which covers an area of two acres and has 100 houses. Once you enter a gate, you can walk around the No.9 Middle School compound. There is a courtyard in the courtyard, a building upstairs, a courtyard on the roof, buildings connected with each other, and courts connected with each other. It can be said that it is a mansion door in the mountains. As long as we stand at the door, we can see layers of houses and feel different styles. An old tree in front of the door adds a touch of charm to the yard.

In the southeast of the village, we also saw some dilapidated houses and courtyards. Hundreds of years of wind and rain have made some cultural relics fly with time. In addition, once the house is unoccupied, it may collapse soon. In order to facilitate life and protect cultural relics, most people in the village moved to their new homes across the street. The mission of this ancient village now is to let people enjoy the scenery and understand a period of history.

The whole Daliangjiang Village, with wooden doors and windows and blue tile cornices, is magnificent, showing people the glory of a generation of Shanxi merchants.
