A wife takes her husband's surname.

There is no such custom in China, but when a woman dies, or is called by others, her surname is Garfield.

For example, the woman's surname is Li and the man's surname is Zhang. After her death, people called her Zhang Li.

Foreigners directly changed their surnames. Replace maiden name.
